Leo Chang: my pleasure.

Reporter: first let's talk about Hyperdunk, a high-performance shoe.

How does this shoe balance the needs of players of different positions and sizes?

Leo Chang: our shoes have always been prepared for high confrontations, like Durant.

This is a shoe that every type of player can adapt to. We take these considerations into consideration.

Reporter: Hyperdunk2015 is also your favorite work.

What is the most innovative change of Hyperdunk2016 compared with the bold Hyperdunk2015? How did he think of such a change?

Leo Chang: in the process of design, we try our best to integrate the idea of innovation into it.

In every Olympic year, we will try our best to produce an explosive shoe. So the first Hyperdunk in 2008 was epoch-making. It changed the shoe industry, and we hope to carry it out.

And summer is coming. It is a very special thing to realize our idea this time.

We have been challenging the limits, our shoes are more high-end color, the ankle also gives players greater support, so that these shoes are more suitable for basketball players.

Reporter: Hyperdunk2016 will use Flyknit for the first time in this series of sneakers.

What kind of innovation is it for vamp technology? Do you think the future Flyknit shoe upper will generate a trend on the court?

Leo Chang: I think this idea that we can design different parts of shoes will inspire us greatly.

We feel that whether Flyknit or anything else, we will be looking forward to the changes that they will bring to us.

You can see that Hyperdunk9 has already used this skill, which will definitely be taken into consideration in our future.

Reporter: there are many innovations in every generation of the KD series. Will Durant participate in this process?

Leo Chang: of course! He has been involved in the whole process of our design. For example, in the design of this shoe, he put forward the use of Flyknit material.

He used to run through running shoes with this material.

He said, "Oh, my God! This material is too comfortable!" although basketball shoes can not use the material of running shoes, but can we use this material?

Products like the Kobe series give us a lot of inspiration, and we are gradually trying to use this innovation in our basketball shoes.

This is a good try. We will also strive to develop products.

Interviewer: do you have any unforgettable stories about brotherhood? Is there any design for KD9?

Leo Chang: getting along with him is great because he is very straightforward and outspoken about his needs.

This is something I've always learned from him: if I don't like it, I'll come back again! He trusts me very much. We've been together since the first generation. He knows he can tell me about it.

We actually tested this shoe a year ago, and he gave us feedback to share his likes and dislikes.

For him, the 8 generation is a challenge. This is one of his favorite performances. He said, "these shoes are perfect!" I thought, "Oh, my God, they are perfect. How can we make progress?"

When he tried it on last summer, he fell in love with those shoes and didn't want to take them off.

Reporter: has there been any difference of opinion? How is it solved?

Leo Chang: of course, this is mutual.

He will always put forward his idea, and we will share it with him.

He has a broad mind, and sometimes he says, "I want high Gang".

We will listen to the reasons why he feels this will help him, and then discuss it.

As long as communication is done well, nothing can be done.

Reporter: how often does such a thing happen?

Leo Chang: Yes, that's a good thing.

Reporter: so for you, his thoughts and feedback are very important.

Leo Chang: of course, he is the symbol of shoes! This is also the biggest difference between us and other brands.

We really will listen to him. This shoe is called KD for a reason, whether it is performance or style.

Reporter: will KD9's full palm Zoom technology continue to be used?

Leo Chang: you have to look at it yourself.

Reporter: can we see a brand-new mitigation technology on KD sneakers in the future?

Leo Chang: we have been trying to explore this area. We will wait and see.

In fact, KD's goal is always similar: the upper part is light and firm, the lower part is solid, and the upper is smooth.

Leo Chang: maybe we'll have to wait and see.

The choice of our shoes should be very approachable and practical, such as keeping KD9 practical in the game.

At the same time, we should also spread to other areas, for elites, we can put forward some conceptual techniques.

For us, what new products may happen in the future is a blink of an eye.

It's like a mixture of shoelaces, socks, shoes, and how to blend them together.

We hope that people will think about where shoes start in the future, and which parts of shoelaces are, but after careful consideration, they can not distinguish them. This is the high-end concept we are pursuing.
