On the afternoon of March 20, 2016, Guangzhou ushered in the fourth member congress of the Guangdong Fashion Designers Association. Many leaders attended the meeting. The new president was announced by Ji Wenbo.

Most of the delegates were excellent fashion designers, including the highest award of Chinese costume design, the Golden Summit Award designer, the top ten fashion designers in China, the top ten fashion designers in Guangdong, and the representatives of provincial local designers association, clothing companies, exhibition companies, fashion education institutions and fashion information organizations.

President Liu has reviewed the development of the fashion design industry in the past four years and the work of the fourth council.

In the past four years, from the continuous weak recovery of the global economy to the new normal of the domestic economy, from the slowdown of consumption growth to the increase of comprehensive cost, from the change of industrial elements to the restructuring of competition pattern, the negative factors that affect the industry still exist objectively. The clothing industry in Guangdong is still in a period of deep adjustment, and the pressure is outstanding.

Faced with all kinds of difficulties and problems, the clothing design industry in Guangdong has maintained steady development. The value of fashion designers has received unprecedented attention and attention.

Under such industry background, the development of garment design industry presents the following characteristics: first, the reform of supply side structure highlights the importance of design innovation.

The two is the rapid development of personalization and customization.

The three is the era of industrial 4, which brings new challenges to the clothing design industry.

In addition, as the garment industry moves from labor-intensive, extensive management to subdivision, specialization, collaborative brand building and knowledge intensive industries, Guangdong fashion designers are growing and gradually becoming mature. More than 1/4 of China's top fashion designers gather in Guangdong.

By the end of 2015, a total of 38 designers in Guangdong rated "top ten fashion designers in China", and 9 of them won the Golden Summit Award for Chinese fashion design.

At the same time, a group of "top ten fashion designers in Guangdong" has been selected every year. At present, a total of 150 top ten fashion designers in Guangdong have been selected for the 15 time.

The group interests of fashion designers have been better valued and maintained.

In terms of clothing education, according to statistics, there are more than 30 professional and professional colleges in Guangdong Province, and about 25 thousand students in clothing specialty colleges and universities. More than 8000 professionals are sent to garment companies in China and the whole country every year.

More and more 211 key undergraduate colleges and universities have set up clothing major, and have added professional performances such as fashion show and display design on the basis of the original clothing design and clothing engineering specialty. The personnel training structure is more perfect, which basically meets the needs of garment enterprises.

Over the past four years, the Guangdong apparel Designers Association has expanded its membership and gradually improved its organizational structure.

Under the close support of the relevant departments, under the close cooperation of the broad member units, based on the articles of association, combining the characteristics of the industry, serving the industry as the purpose, we have done in-depth and meticulous work in building public service platforms, strengthening exchanges at home and abroad, upgrading the soft power of the garment industry, and improving the association's own construction, and achieved some results.

The nomination of the new president, executive chairman, executive vice president and Council nominee of the association is in accordance with the relevant regulations of the provincial Civil Affairs Department, and according to the actual situation of the clothing design industry in our province, and after the democratic consultation and democratic recommendation of the designer's representative.

The nominated candidates are widely representative and are keen to support and actively participate in the activities of the association, including the local designers association, famous designers, garment enterprises, garment education institutions, etc., which are in line with the requirements of the circular issued by the Provincial Association of trade associations for changing the election and the provisions of the association's articles of association.

Dai Xiaoxing, the scrutiner, read the election results of the fourth directors, presidents, executive presidents, executive vice presidents and vice presidents: Wen Bo was elected the new president, Ding Ning was elected the new executive chairman, Wen Jinghua was elected the new executive vice president, Wang Jia, Wang Peina, Deng Zhao Ping, Deng Zhao, Hui, Kun, Wang, Jin, Kun, Lin, Lin, Chu, Fang, Fang Ying, Qu Ting Nan, Wei, Kun, Kun, and Sui were elected as new vice presidents, and 159 were elected directors.

Following the fourth session of the Council, the General Assembly voted to adopt a list of candidates for the new secretary general and deputy secretary general. President Ji Wenbo read out the results of the appointment of honorary president and senior advisor.

Wang Jia was appointed as the new secretary general. Zheng Fengni, Chen Shaotong and Chen Qiu were deputy secretaries general. He hired Liu Yang as honorary president of life and invited Bu Xiaoqiang, Liu Yueping, Li Kailuo, Yang Zhixiong, Yang Zhixiong, and so on to be 6 senior advisors of the association.

The proposal for the establishment of the branch of the association was deliberated, and the fourth member congress will be set up.

I believe that with the joint efforts of all of you, the provincial garment designers association will develop faster, and the Guangdong garment design industry will also have a more far-reaching influence.
