"Outdoor Sportswear" National Standard For Industry Protection

Issued by the national standards committee, the national standard of GB/T 32614-2016 outdoor sportswear dress, which was drafted by Pathfinder holding group Limited by Share Ltd, was officially released and will be formally implemented in November 1, 2016.

This national standard is formulated by the national sports goods Standardization Technical Committee sports clothing branch, and the national knitting product quality supervision and inspection center and many other leading enterprises and testing organizations participate in drafting.

In recent years, with the continuous enhancement of people's health awareness and sports awareness, more and more people take part in outdoor sports, and the clothing has gradually become a popular trend, and its functionality has also become the focus of attention of consumers.

As for the introduction of the new standard, the Pathfinder said that as the standard drafting unit, the Pathfinder will strictly control the quality of products and establish an effective quality standard system, strictly producing and implementing internal control standards.

While providing consumers with a more comfortable and safe product experience, Pathfinder also hopes to provide technical support and basis for standardizing the outdoor clothing market, ensuring the quality of outdoor clothing, and maintaining the health and safety of outdoor sports enthusiasts, so as to promote healthy, orderly and healthy development of the industry.

At present, there is no uniform product standard for the performance evaluation and technical requirements of our outfits, and there is no assessment of the functional characteristics of the jackets. These functional characteristics are the key indicators reflecting the quality of the clothing, ensuring the safety of outdoor travel and wearing comfort.

"Standard" has filled the blank of the domestic outdoor sportswear category standards, breaking the current standard of confusion in the implementation of quality supervision, and reducing the phenomenon of damage to consumers' interests, and promoting the improvement of the quality and technical level of the clothing products.

The drafting relies on the capability of R & D, testing and data analysis of the polar bionic Laboratory of the Pathfinder research center. From more than 2000 sets of experimental data, we extract and analyze the actual function index value of the vest, and conduct technical discussions with the same industry experts, third party testing organizations and various standards committees under the organization of the standard committee. After a number of small-scale opinion solicitation, more than 5 expert experts' joint reviews, hundreds of experts' opinions were gathered, and over three years later, we finally completed the standard drafting, approval, and trial release process, which made the production and quality inspection of the clothing products available.

From the standpoint of ensuring product quality, the new standard is correct.

The quality requirements of the product have three aspects, one is safety index, including formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, etc., to meet the requirements of the basic safety technical specification for national textile products; two, the basic performance requirements of the product, including the size change rate of washing, color fastness, color fastness to fastness, fastness to light, pilling, abrasion resistance, tear strength, strength of trousers and post crotch joints, etc. three are functional requirements, including surface moisture resistance, hydrostatic pressure and moisture permeability.

Specifically, the new standard applies to various outdoor sports requirements to ensure that the functional requirements of the suit are divided into professional category (I level) and non professional category (II level). I class products have more stringent requirements on the function of the suit clothing, which can be applied to the activities outside the specialized households. The II class products are slightly lower than the I grade functional indexes, and satisfy the daily outdoor activities such as leisure activities.

The standard stipulates that the water level before washing is 4 grade, and the waterproof property is evaluated as "good anti wetting property". Two, in terms of hydrostatic pressure (the fabric can resist high water pressure for a long time, while the inner layer does not seep or wet), the standards set corresponding indexes for the fabric and fabric joints respectively. Three, when the moisture permeability rate (the sweaty gas produced by the body needs to be discharged in time), the sweat generated by the body needs to be drained out in time. Therefore, the standard stipulates the moisture permeability rate to obtain better heat and moisture comfort, and the standard determines that the moisture permeability is 5000 for the class I product and 3000 for the second class product. First, the surface moisture resistance (that is, what we usually call water repellent) means drops of water falling on the fabric, such as dew on lotus leaves.

Additionally, the test requirements for moisture permeability are increased, and the functional performance of the products is better guaranteed.

In addition, in order to protect children's health, the standard specifies safety requirements applicable to children, such as safety requirements for children's tops, safety requirements for ropes and belts, and residual metal needles.
