Infant clothing and children's clothing, such as coats, down garments, cotton clothes and cotton trousers, are located in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Hebei and other places.

According to GB18401-2010 "basic safety technical specification for national textile products" and GB31701-2015 "safety technical specification for textile products for infants and children", the samples were tested for decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, formaldehyde content, pH value, perspiration color fastness, water fastness and dry friction color fastness.

Attention should be paid to the following items when buying children's clothing.

First, check whether there are Chinese labels on the goods and their packages, whether they indicate the name, address, product type, raw material fiber content, washing method, product standard number, safety category, product quality grade and so on, and whether there is a product quality inspection certificate.

The two is to check whether children's clothing has pungent odor or peculiar smell.

It may be residual chemicals, which may contain formaldehyde.

Three, the purchase of infant textile products should be marked with baby products, with soft, warm, light colored, skin friendly cotton products better.

Four, the newly purchased clothing is best washed before wearing. It is not only hygienic, but also washes off floats and other chemical residues.

After examination, 7 batches of samples were unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 14%. The main unqualified items were perspiration color fastness, water fastness, dry friction color fastness and decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes.
