At the briefing, Lin Fengchun, President of Quanzhou 3D Printing Association, introduced the theme of "3D printing in the process and gift industry innovation application", focusing on the functions of 3D printing equipment, innovative applications, product molding and development, and industrial development.

3D printing is a disruptive innovative technology. It can produce products that are assembled in dozens of hundreds or even more parts, which greatly simplifies the manufacturing process and saves manufacturing and assembly costs.

From the perspective of 3D printing new technology, product and equipment redesign can create the structure that traditional technology can not achieve, providing great innovation space for design innovation.

At present, 3D printing technology is mainly used in aerospace, automobile and other high-end equipment manufacturing, as well as medical, cultural and creative industries that need personalized and rapid response, as well as education.

For example, in the development of auto parts, light industrial products, home appliances and other products, the product development cycle and cost will be reduced by more than half.

"3D printing technology can be applied to the fields such as plumbing and sanitary ware, electronic machinery, shoes and garments, craft gifts and so on. For manufacturing enterprises, the way of 3D modeling can greatly reduce the cost of early research and development, improve the accuracy and stability of products, reduce the cost of energy saving and environmental protection, and greatly enhance the added value of products."
