Since the founding of new China, under the leadership of the party, the textile working class, on the basis of backward industrial development, has worked hard and worked hard with a high sense of responsibility and boundless creativity. It has worked hard to build our country into more than half of the world's output by hard labor.

The world's largest textile and garment producing countries, consuming countries and exporting countries, which occupy more than 1/3 of the world's total, have formed a complete set of upstream and downstream industrial chains, and the industrial structure and layout have been increasingly optimized. The product structure has increasingly met the diversified needs of people's daily life, personalized and functional needs and penetrated into related industries, including medical and health, environmental protection, geotechnical and construction, pportation, aerospace, new energy, agriculture, forestry and fishery.

Over the past 60 years, generations of textile working class have been forging ahead and striving for self-improvement. There has been a batch of labor models with important influence throughout the country.

In this highly esteemed flash group, during the founding period, we created the first scientific work method of China's labor trade front, the spinning work method, the textile worker Hao Jianxiu who made a significant contribution to the development of the textile industry in New China. These five years are five years of marked milestone in the great historical process of China's reform and opening up.

Over the past five years, profound changes have taken place in the situation of the world. The factors and market environment that support China's rapid economic growth have changed significantly. The development of China's textile industry has entered a new normal mode of slowing down, dynamic pformation and structural adjustment.

In the face of the deep adjustment of the world economy after the financial crisis and the downward pressure on the domestic economy, the cadres and workers of the Chinese textile industry conscientiously implement the spirit of the important speech of general secretary Xi Jinping and the decision making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, take the initiative to adapt to the new normal economic development, accelerate the pformation of the mode of economic development and meet difficulties, and actively write a new chapter of the 12th Five-Year development of China's textile industry.

First, the textile economy has maintained rapid growth.

From 2011 to 2015, the processing volume of textile fibers increased by 5.1% annually. The above average textile enterprises achieved an average annual growth of 9.2% in total business income, and the total profit increased by 11.5% annually. The main economic indicators were at a good level in the national industrial system.

The export volume of textiles and clothing increased by 6.6% annually, accounting for 37.4% of the world's share from 34.3% in 2010.

Two, structural adjustment is effective.

Since 12th Five-Year, the industrial structure has been further optimized.

The role of industrial textiles as a new growth point in the development of the industry has become increasingly prominent, and its fiber processing volume has increased by 10.3% annually, accounting for about 25% of the total fiber processing volume, from around 20% in 2010 to about 25%. The proportion of chemical fiber in the total textile fiber processing in China has reached 84%, which is 14 percentage points higher than that in 2010, and the development of new chemical fiber varieties has developed rapidly. The differential rate has reached 56%, which is 10 percentage points higher than that at the end of 11th Five-Year. On the industrial layout, the textile industry has continued to move to the central and western regions, especially in Xinjiang, and the proportion of the main business income of the above scale enterprises in the central and western regions has increased from 16.8% in 2010 to 23.2%.

Three, the ability of scientific and technological innovation has been greatly improved.

The technologies such as design and manufacturing have been progressing, and many key technologies in the industry have been breakthroughs and promoted; the new textile equipment of continuous industry, automation and high-speed has been widely applied; in 2015, the proportion of no yarn in the cotton and textile industry was 85%, and the proportion of shuttleless cloth was 86%, which increased by 15.7 and 12.3 percentage points respectively compared with that in 2010. The enterprises attached importance to increasing investment in science and technology and achieved substantial results, 7716 of which were effectively inventions by Enterprises above Designated Size, and 2.3 times that of 2011; 16 achievements in the textile industry were awarded the national science and Technology Award, among which the "cheese automatic digital dyeing technology and equipment" was awarded the first prize of national science and technology progress, and 650 achievements were awarded by the China Textile Industry Federation. Since 12th Five-Year, high performance fiber and composite materials, high-end textile equipment, two integration, functional and personalized textiles and garments.

Four is the effective promotion of brand building.

The brand awareness of the whole industry has been greatly improved, and the brand system of the whole industry chain is taking shape. The cultivation management system and the brand value evaluation system of the industry brand have been initially established.

The strength of R & D input of 120 garment home textile brand enterprises maintained by the Ministry of industry and information has been maintained at 2.2%-2.4%; currently, there are about 3500 independent apparel brands in the domestic market, more than 300 of which are well-known trademarks in China, and 56% of the 87 consumer goods brands commended by the China Federation of Commerce in 2013. The proportion of e-commerce in key brands is over 80%, and the rapid growth of textile and apparel e-commerce has expanded the market influence of brand products.

Five, green development has made progress.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, a large number of new technologies for energy saving, consumption reduction and emission reduction were widely applied. The water intake of fresh water from 100 meter dyeing and printing cloth in dyeing and printing industry dropped from 2.5 tons to less than 1.8 tons, and the water reuse rate increased from 15% to over 30%.

The annual output of recycled fiber reached 6 million tons, accounting for 9.6% of total fiber processing from 9.6% in 2010 to more than 12%.

The "zero abandonment of old clothes" activities has promoted the construction and development of the industrial chain of recycling, sorting and comprehensive utilization of waste textiles.

The six is to accelerate the implementation of the "going global" strategy and accelerate the development of foreign investment.

More than 2600 textile and garment enterprises in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and other coastal provinces have entered more than 100 countries and regions in the world. They have invested in developed countries and developing countries in green investment, equity acquisition, asset acquisition and joint ventures, and have formed a number of powerful international enterprises.

Seven, we must strengthen the training of talents.

The scale of R & D personnel in the textile industry has been expanding. In 2014, the R & D personnel of the above scale enterprises were equivalent to 104 thousand persons per year, increasing by 25.3% compared with 2010. During 12th Five-Year, more than 5000 people were awarded the China Textile Industry Federation's science and Technology Awards.

With the increase of the "textile light" foundation technology award and Education Award and the increase of enterprise investment, the multi-level human resources cultivation system is further improved.

There is no doubt that since 12th Five-Year, every achievement of China's textile industry has embodied the spirit of working hard and striving for unity among all the workers and staff in the whole industry, which is full of their hard work and selfless dedication, and has condensed their infinite wisdom and creative vitality.
