The 40 year old expert on comfort shoes still produces most of the shoes in two factories in Dezhou.

Kim will sell door-to-door, negotiate with company CEO, and travel in person to design exhibition.

Today, this kind of demeanour is also rare in the locals.

The product is fully designed and controlled by Kim. She found flexible rubber pads on SAS from Italy shoemaker, but used SAS cushion technology and knitted fabric to enhance comfort.

"If I hire an ordinary shoe factory, they can't make SAS shoes," Kim said.

Hopp Essential Oxford (US $225) is available in all sizes now. Please note that this shoe size is small.

This autumn, Kim will release boots and slippers, all custom made low roots shoes.
