    Workplace politics is a natural phenomenon in which human beings compete for power and status in a group of members.

    Such behaviour is undisputable, especially when people gain status through their impeccable character and ability.

    However, when people try to climb the summit by taking shortcuts, such workplace politics is poisonous.

    In this case, compared with the essence of power, people tend to be more inclined to the surface of power.

    Status is derived from the appearance of power (such as exaggerated superiority) rather than real power (its characteristics are real, legitimate moral authority and sense of existence), often accompanied by a lack of firm status.

    Self doubt

    Perhaps the most difficult obstacle to overcome, and will let you trapped in such an abnormal working environment.

    They are strong, able, independent, intelligent, and agreeable, and possess high academic qualifications.

    On average, these victims can tolerate soft storms for up to 23 months or more. They often act without complaints, so their adaptability is strong.

    When self doubt in a workplace is caused by force, the self criticizing of a person who lives in front of himself (for example, a voice deep in his heart keeps nagging his own shortcomings and erroneous behaviors in his ears), these soft bursts and force behaviors have already caused the most serious damage.

    In such a toxic working environment, such inner self criticism will continue to enlarge.

    When it comes to a certain degree, depression will be the inevitable result.
