Q: Hello, please introduce yourself.

Xu Ruilin: Hello, everyone. I am Xu Ruilin, the designer of running shoes in sports products department, which is responsible for the design of all core racing shoes.

Q: as a professional designer of running shoes, what conditions do you think a pair of good running shoes should have?

Xu Ruilin: running shoes are important equipment for people to run. First of all, they should conform to ergonomics, followed by professional functional technology and beautiful appearance, giving runners good and interesting sports experience.

The intelligent introduction of XTEP core racing shoes has undoubtedly created a real racing running shoes that can really run a marathon, bringing professional athletes experience into the ordinary consumer's life movement, so that users can experience marathon running wherever they are.

Q: now there are more and more smart running shoes on the market. How do you view this phenomenon? What kind of experience do you think the smart running shoes bring to runners?

Xu Ruilin: in the era of mobile Internet, the combination of technology and sports life is undoubtedly an inevitable phenomenon of intelligent running shoes.

Today, the major sports brands have also launched their own products, and XTEP's full - core racing shoes break through the combination of technology chips and professional marathon shoes, providing a higher price ratio for the runners.

Q: what is the main target group of this running shoe? What was your original design concept?

Xu Ruilin: XTEP's all core racing shoes mainly aim at knowing their sports data, willing to surpass themselves and enjoy sports and love life.

My original design idea is to design a professional running shoes that can help runners to understand their sports data and increase their fun.

Q: we understand that when choosing different colors of running shoes, user groups are very interested in the color matching of XTEP core racing shoes. Can you share your inspiration in the design process?

Xu Ruilin: the main color matching of this running shoe comes from the arena.

In the arena, we can feel the passion and joy of running, and the bright color is even more pleasant. At the same time, in designing the color matching process of running shoes, we also give great consideration to practicality. Wearing bright coloured sports equipment will make runners more conspicuous. When runners are running in the more complex outdoors, drivers will be more likely to find runners, avoid them and prevent accidents.

Q: as a pair of racing shoes that can really run marathons, what are the highlights of XTEP's all core racing shoes in terms of material usage?

Xu Ruilin: this kind of running shoe upper is made of sandwich breathable mesh cloth and ultra thin cutting technology, which perfectly integrates the air permeability and encapsulation. The X structure of the vamp and the heel TPU injection process provide good heel package and support, and provide good stability protection for runners when running.

The midsole double density MD damping material provides good shock absorbing effect, reduces the impact damage caused by running on the knee joint, and effectively pforms the impact force at the landing into propulsion force, making running easier; the big bottom uses light rubber foam + wear-resistant rubber, the former is lightweight and shock-absorbing, the latter is super strong wear-resisting, has good grip, reduces the shoe body weight and prolongs the service life at the same time.

During the design period, my colleagues and I wore running shoes with chips to the outdoor running test. By changing the pace and speed, we compared the data repeatedly, and then passed the feedback from engineers to get more accurate data to avoid data errors.
