In October 2015, the Guangzhou customs launched the "Internet + customs clearance" reform in Nansha free trade area, and succeeded in replicating and promoting the innovation measures of the free trade area system in some parts of the province.

The reform has aroused positive response from the society and business circles, and has been fully affirmed by the General Administration of customs and local governments.

At the end of last year, Yu Guangzhou, head of the General Administration of customs and Secretary of the Party group, made clear in the news release of the State Council that we should explore the reform of "Internet + customs clearance".

In January of this year, governor Zhu Xiaodan and vice governor He Zhongyou fully affirmed the "Internet + customs clearance" project launched by the Guangzhou customs in the Nansha free trade pilot area, and asked the customs Guangdong branch to promote the Customs Organization in the province.

By the end of August, 70% of the postal operators had gone through customs formalities on the "online" basis, and 96% of the inbound and outbound mail systems had been automatically released. Such reforms have been implemented in customs such as Shenzhen and Gongbei.

Based on the successful experience of the Guangdong Shenzhen customs and Whampoa customs in the early reform of the bonded supervision and operation process, the Guangdong branch led the development of the Guangdong bonded processing and management auxiliary platform, which realized the functions of the manual processing of bonded processing manual, the paperless and manual sharing of parameters, the sharing of process parameters and the sharing of process flow. The business hours of the enterprises were reduced to 2-3 hours from 2-3 days before the reform. Gongbei customs adopted the Internet technology to improve the supervision efficiency of bonded warehousing enterprises.

The Guangdong branch has taken the lead in developing the pan pearl customs clearance integrated WeChat service platform, which is in line with the "Pan Pearl" four provinces regional customs integration reform. It has been pushing enterprises and other users to announce the customs and port site business announcements in the pan pearl region, providing state inquiries, business information notifications and other related businesses and documents (such as manifest and customs declaration form).
