24 Kilates Enters Bangkok To Launch A New Lifestyle Shop

24 Kilates is a well-known street corner shop in Barcelona last year to celebrate.

Set up 10th anniversary, also specially invited to ASICS Tiger cooperation

A joint GEL-Respector shoe called "Virgin Extra".

Recently, 24 Kilates went to Bangkok to jointly launch the Jazzbah Records, a local music center for hip-hop and jazz, to launch a new lifestyle shop. It also invited two young architects in Italy to create a External Reference shop design shop in Barcelona.

This is also the second entity store after 24 Kilates following the flagship store in Barcelona.

External Reference likes to break the boundaries between architecture, visual arts and digital manufacturing, and create unique experience for space. The 24 Bangkok Kilates store is a typical example.

For display

The regular shoe rack is replaced by a shoe cabinet like a safe deposit box.

Coupled with the luxurious golden tone, it is like walking into a bank vault.

On the back wall facing the shop, the design team disguised a wall similar to the bank vault's anti-theft composite wall, and a large wheel wrapped the shop logo.

The gold covered "safe deposit box" occupies the entire wall on both sides of the space.

You may wonder, shop display is not always placed in the most prominent position. Why do designers hide shoes in boxes?

According to the External Reference team, these "safe" cabinet doors can be opened or disassembled at any time, combined in different closed and closed ways to create constantly changing visual effects.

Another aspect of the designer's intention is to inspire customers to explore the interest of sneakers in the box. "This has the meaning of an art exhibition, like magic and uniqueness."

In an area of 38 square meters, there is a rest area in addition to the shoe show area, which is used for customers to try on shoes, and also for activities or party venues.

After the completion of the design, 24 Kilates was pleased with the pioneer concept of the new store design.
