2016 China Leather Association Scholarship Award Ceremony Held Successfully

The 2016 China Leather Association Scholarship Award Ceremony was held at the College of light textile and food science, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, light industry science and Engineering College of Sichuan University, and School of Leather Chemistry and engineering, Qilu Industrial University.

On behalf of the China Leather Association, honorary chairman Su Chaoying congratulated the students who won the scholarship of 2016, and expressed their heartfelt thanks to the institutions, educators and related enterprises that made unremitting efforts and contributions to talent cultivation and technological development.

The scholarship was first established in 1995 and is the first time that the leather industry has been established in China.

In the past 21 years, a total of 2404 people and 103 outstanding classes have won awards. The amount of investment has been more than 180 yuan. The total number of scholarships has been 208 times, 8 classes have won awards, and the amount of subsidy has been 170 thousand yuan.

The establishment of the scholarship has played a positive role in stimulating the enthusiasm of many students to join the leather industry, cultivating knowledge and skills, and being familiar with the development of high-quality talents.

The honorary chairman made a special report entitled "the development and future prospects of China's leather industry" at the scholarship presentation ceremony, which elaborated from the international market demand, the location of China's leather industry in the global market, the focus issues of leather industry, the basic framework, development characteristics, advantages and challenges of China's leather industry, and especially emphasized the importance of leather industry.

He pointed out that China's leather industry has laid an important position in its pillar industries of the national economy with its huge capacity and export earning capacity, huge employment population and huge support for the consumer market. Its massive adoption and pformation of new technologies have shown the distinct characteristics of the technology intensive industries, and the beauty of its life has laid the attribute of the fashion industry.

During the ceremony, the ceremony of "the history of leather in China" was held at Shaanxi University of Science and Technology and Qilu Industrial University.

With abundant historical events, it has written the miracle that the leather industry has created, developed and created the world's leather power country in China. The publication of this book has filled a gap in the development of leather industry in China.
