    Industry is the foundation of a strong nation, and culture is the soul of a nation.

    Traditional culture is the blood of the nation and the spiritual home of the people.

    Today, all kinds of cultural thoughts in the world blend with each other, collide and interact with each other. Today, it is a new social trend to reconsider national culture, review historical classics and revitalize traditional skills.

    With the rapid development of science, technology, economy and information, people also feel more and more deeply that cultural consciousness and cultural confidence are more basic, deeper and more lasting forces to push forward the progress of the country and the nation.

    The unique concept, wisdom, grace and charm of Chinese traditional culture add to the confidence and pride of the Chinese and the Chinese nation.     Textile and clothing handicraft production has played an important role in the construction of modern textile industry system in China. At present, the cooperation and win-win situation of "one belt and one road" construction and global pattern still has irreplaceable cultural value and economic value, and are further forming a new trend of open development.

    Up to now, China has published more than 1300 state-level intangible cultural heritages in four batches, including 82 textile categories, which are distributed in three major categories: folk art, traditional handicrafts and folk customs. It is one of the most traditional handicraft techniques published by the state, involving the largest number of categories, the most extensive coverage and the richest varieties.

    Based on this, the China Textile Industry Federation set up the office of intangible cultural heritage in August 2016, aiming to integrate textile heritage protection with modern industry and enhance industrial cultural confidence.

    And in the whole industry, we should promote the productive protection of intangible heritage, establish relevant system guarantee system, pform non heritage into productive forces and products, and promote industrial development.

    At present, the main research institutes of China's textile intangible cultural heritage include universities, research institutes, and enterprises, museums and research institutes whose core is inheritance. Their main research directions are focused on the protection of intangible cultural heritage of regional textiles, the technological and artistic value of textile non-material cultural heritage, and the inheritance, development and protection of intangible cultural heritage of textiles.

    The establishment of the China embroidery art research institute marks a new professional force in the process of the protection and inheritance of China's textile intangible cultural heritage. In the future, I hope that Chinese embroidery art will be studied.


    The Institute can continue to explore three directions: first, to carry out "product innovation research and development" with both artistry authenticity and contemporaneity and pertinence; two, to enhance brand value added and cultural confidence and effective brand operation; and three, to realize conditional screening and maintain "special scale" and "bottom line" development.

    For the traditional Chinese embroidery craft and textile intangible cultural heritage, we have explored a road of cultural and industrial inheritance of "scenery alone".

    Chinese embroidery is a pearl in intangible cultural heritage. It is an important part of traditional Chinese textile and clothing technology, and is also an important link to promote the integration and development of traditional technology and modern fashion industry and cultural and creative industries.
