China international underwear creative design competition, founded in 2012, is an industrial competition sponsored jointly by the Shenzhen Underwear Industry Association (SUA), the Shenzhen Guangming New Area Management Committee, the China knitted Industrial Association, the Guangdong Textile Association and the Hongkong underwear Association.

First round review

The first prize of this contest was invited by the organizing committee, including Liu Chi, a doctor of clothing engineering, University of Manchester, Professor Basia Szkutnicka, Professor of fashion and textiles design, Hong Kong Polytech University, Peggy, deputy director of research and development, Peggy, director of development of Hui Jie man Ni, Hu Rongrong, chief designer Hu Rongrong of Wei Zhenni, and Wu Guoli, director of urban beauty research and development center.

For the first time in the first stage of this competition, the foreign judges are invited to join the jury, which is judged by the opinions of Chinese and Western professional judges. It is bound to select more convincing and comprehensive design works.

The second round review

The jury is composed of senior design directors of the four major listed companies in underwear industry and professors from domestic famous underwear professional design institutes. During the initial evaluation process, each group of entries is evaluated by the most stringent evaluation criteria and the most critical professional vision. The aim is to dig new designers for the industry and cultivate the best underwear designers in China and the world.

Second round finalists

In order to ensure the fairness of the competition and improve the efficiency of the selection, this review has followed the review rules of nearly two rounds of preliminary competitions in the appraisal process, and the evaluation committee needs three rounds of assessment to screen out the entries gradually.

In the first round of review, each judge should review all the electronic design draft separately; the second round of review, each judge separately read the design draft of the physical map; the third round of assessment, all the judges reviewed the electronic design draft and the physical drawing design draft at the same time, and focused on the evaluation of the resolution, and strictly considered the work from four aspects: the theme performance, the creative conception, the presentation skills and the practical value, and then selected the finalists.

Next, the shortlisted contestants will play the production of print, so that their design works will be on the stage of the finals of the finals in April 19th to compete for the final title.
