Semir And North America'S Largest Children'S Clothing Brand Reached A Long-Term Strategic Cooperation Agreement
In March 20, 2018, Semir apparel (002563) announced its long-term strategic cooperation with The Children 's Place, the most professional children's wear brand in North America.
According to the agreement between the two sides, Semir will develop and operate The Children 's Place business in Greater China (including Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan) through direct channels, including retailers, retailers and e-commerce.
The Children 's Place is the first largest professional children's wear retailer in North America. It operates 1200 direct outlets and licensed distribution centers in 22 countries such as the United States, with an annual revenue of over 12 billion yuan.
It has the world leading level in brand operation, design and research, supply chain management, sales management and so on.
Semir's "balbala" brand is China's largest all age professional children's wear brand, with more than 4400 direct and retail stores, with an annual turnover of more than ten billion.
The agreement shows that the two sides will reach a long-term strategic cooperation agreement. The term is divided into three stages: the first stage is 5 years, the second stage is 5 years, the third stage is 10 years.
During the agreement period, THE CHILDREN 'S PLACE authorized Semir to use its trademark, other intellectual property rights and know-how in designated areas, Semir will purchase products from THE CHILDREN' S PLACE, and at the same time, to meet the needs of the Chinese market, the company will independently design, develop, produce and sell.
At the same time, in the designated area, the company will conduct business through direct channels, retailers and e-commerce channels.
The long-term strategic cooperation between Semir and The Children 's Place will deepen cooperation and cooperation in product, design, supply chain, channel, retail and other aspects in order to further expand Semir's children's business and consolidate and strengthen Semir's leading position in China's children's wear industry.
