In order to meet the development needs of civil aviation composite materials, Donghua University approved the establishment of a secondary institution "collaborative innovation center of civil aviation composite materials Donghua University" (hereinafter referred to as "Collaborative Innovation Center") in 2012. After COMAC settled in Shanghai, the collaborative innovation center decided to establish an experimental class for top-notch innovative talents of civil aviation composite materials (hereinafter referred to as the "experimental class") on the basis of high-quality resources after many times of communication with the Academic Affairs Office of Donghua University and COMAC, so as to better serve COMAC and civil aviation composite materials. Through the construction of practice platform, the introduction of COMAC engineers to guide students to practice and form teams to participate in the scientific and technological innovation cup, so as to improve the training effect of top-notch innovative talents. After four years of practice, a set of top-notch talent selection and teaching system has been formed, and a teaching team has been trained, and a teaching material system has been gradually established. The project won the first prize of textile education and teaching achievements of China Textile Industry Federation in 2017.
Perfect the system of talents training and Practice
Based on the actual development of composite materials, the experimental class introduced the textile, textile, textile, and other materials Material Science Combined with the requirements of COMAC civil aviation composite materials, a comprehensive top-notch personnel training mode highlighting knowledge-based practical ability training has been fully explored. Sun Baozhong, Professor of Textile College of Donghua University and the person who completed the project, introduced that the experimental class emphasized the combination of theory and practice, formed a systematic teaching system, established a multi-disciplinary, high-level and wide-ranging teaching team, and through the mutual learning of selected talents' knowledge, the centralized learning of compound knowledge and the training of multi-level innovation system, the basic knowledge, practical knowledge and Research projects and various scientific and technological activities are closely combined to promote the cultivation of top-notch talents.
In the aspect of teachers' construction, the experimental class constantly improves the construction of teaching staff, and on the basis of interdisciplinary and collaborative innovation, it achieves the goal of Cross College, Cross School and cross-border. We should strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics and improve the level of teachers, strengthen the training of young teachers, encourage teachers to pay attention to the timely transformation of scientific research achievements into teaching contents while undertaking and completing scientific research projects, so that students can master the latest scientific research development. At the same time, we attach importance to the leading role of high-end talents in teaching, and take advantage of the advantages of collaborative innovation center to gather talents. We have invited experts and scholars from scientific research institutes such as Chinese Academy of Sciences, AVIC commercial development and Shanghai thousand talents, as well as American university professors to give lectures to the experimental class students. In addition, the experimental class also extends the classroom teaching to the front line of the industry, and employs engineers and relevant professional and technical personnel to guide students' practical teaching.
In terms of personnel training system, following the general law of civil aviation composite materials discipline, from the perspective of industrial demand, students from different disciplines and colleges are selected for training. According to the characteristics of students, teachers are organized to compile relevant teaching materials suitable for experimental class students, and the training plan is customized and adjusted. On the basis of emphasizing the basic knowledge of composite materials, highlight the specialty of students with different professional backgrounds, and enhance their understanding of composite materials. We should further promote the top-notch talent training mode of "combining teaching with research", establish and improve the training mode of quasi graduate students, attach importance to the role of innovative experiment and innovative practice in learning, build "Student Creative Workshop", and enhance students' mastery of the knowledge they have learned through practical activities, project research, independent creative practice and various technical competitions close to leading enterprises in the industry Grasp and apply, deepen students' understanding of composite materials related basic knowledge, cultivate and tap civil aviation science and technology innovation talents. After a long period of operation, the experimental class has initially formed the "86221" talent training program, and formed a three-level innovation training system of the school, Shanghai city and national activities.
After four years of construction and practice, the relevant achievements of the project have been recognized by COMAC and some other brother colleges. The teaching concept and practice of compound top-notch talents with outstanding knowledge-based practical ability has played an exemplary role in the teaching reform of composite materials; This kind of multi-level and multi-directional teaching reform practice and related achievements promotion with talent cultivation as the core and collaborative innovation center as the experimental field has a good reference for the talent cultivation of composite related majors.
Multi level training to cultivate compound top talents
Through the reform and innovation of teaching mode and method, the comprehensive quality of students has been effectively improved. Among the students who have graduated, the postgraduate entrance examination, going abroad and employment are showing a good trend. In the process of promotion and exemption of 2012 master's students, many famous schools have a high recognition of the composite practice course of experimental students. Taking the first experimental class as an example, 30% of the 30 students obtained the promotion and exemption qualification and were admitted by Fudan, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Tongji, Xi'an Jiaotong University and other famous universities; nearly 37% of the students were directly promoted to our university without examination; three were admitted by foreign universities; and many students were employed by enterprises related to aviation composite materials.
When talking about how to cultivate students' practical ability in the experimental class, sun Baozhong said: at the school level, we should strengthen the extracurricular science and technology practice activities inside and outside the school, and organize students to participate in the large-scale practical courses organized by COMAC; At the level of Shanghai, students are organized to participate in academic conferences and various innovative practice conferences organized by Shanghai Composite society, Shanghai Composite Materials alliance and China composite materials society, and participate in national extracurricular science and technology innovation projects of Shanghai university students; All over the country, students are organized to participate in the SAMPE composite material student competition, Honda energy conservation competition and other professional events. Through school, Shanghai and national activities, a three-level innovation training system is formed to cultivate and improve students' practical ability and innovation ability.
The personnel training system of the experimental class, which is multi-disciplinary and multi college involved, realizes the high-level education concept of "compound top-notch talents who highlight the cultivation of knowledge-based practical ability", highlights the cultivation of knowledge-based practical ability and multi-level training, and establishes a multi-level training system including knowledge-based courses, expanding practice and research-oriented topics; The university has established a collaborative teaching center, which is mainly composed of teachers, engineers and other industries in Colleges and universities.
The innovative teaching mode and rich and diverse teaching methods have been recognized by Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Zhongyuan Institute of technology, Hebei University of science and technology, Shanghai University of engineering and technology, Qingdao University and other brother colleges, and used for reference in their related teaching.
