    On the 28-29 th of July, the advanced training course of 2018 national textile composite talents training project jointly sponsored by China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, China Textile Engineering Society, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology and China cotton textile industry association was taught fifth times in Shanghai Donghua University.

    The strong academic atmosphere of Donghua University and the explanations made by the professors are simple enough to let students understand the development and market prospects of textiles in the fields of chemical fiber, nonwoven and knitted fabrics.

    The event was chaired by Xu Jiawei, leader of the 2018 textile high training class and Secretary Du Du, and Wang Yuping, vice president of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, attended the event.

    Zhu Meifang, Dean and professor of the school of materials science and engineering, Donghua University, takes "organic inorganic hybrid fiber research progress" as the theme, and explains from Donghua several aspects, such as fiber, fiber and hybridization, exchange and prospect.

    At present, the research direction of fiber is mainly in high performance and composite materials, functional fibers and low dimensional materials, environmental friendliness and biomass fiber.

    Professor Zhu pointed out that the effective combination of the special functions of inorganic materials and the machinability of organic materials and the control interface function is an important means to realize the "tailoring" and "assembly" of material functions, and the integration of multi disciplines is the key to support the development of chemical fibers.

    In addition, Professor Zhu also analyzed the design of polymers, the regulation of condensed matter structure and fiber formation, the controllable preparation and functional construction of nanofibers and nano hybrid materials.

    On the afternoon of 28, the participants visited Kaisai Biological Industry Co., Ltd., and the chairman of the company, Dr. Liu Xiucai, explained the research and industrialization of new biological materials for students.

    Dr Liu Xiucai points out that natural resources can effectively solve the problem of carbon cycling and biodegradable plastics through biopformation, and can also supplement or eventually replace petrochemical resources.

    By introducing the opportunities and challenges of bio based new materials, the typical cases of new biological materials in the world are analyzed, and the research and industrialization of bio Based Polyamide are described in detail. The students have a systematic understanding of new biological materials.

    It is understood that Kaisai Biological Industry Co., Ltd. was founded in 1997, which is one of the earliest enterprises in the world to invest in the industrialization of biotechnology.

    The biological base polyamide produced by Kaisai is a trademark of Thailand and ECOPENTTM. The main raw materials come from starch containing crops, such as corn, hybrid sorghum, cassava or straw.

    The TLP fiber produced by biobased polyamide is light, flexible, wearable, hygroscopic and flame retardant.

    On the 29 day, Professor Chen Nanliang, vice president of Donghua University, took "knitting technology and development" as the theme. From knitting and its characteristics, we introduced some characteristics of knitting to students: short process, high production efficiency, small footprint, low noise, low labor intensity, and formability.

    Professor Chen pointed out that knitting has now formed a three fold position with the weaving and nonwoven industry. High and new technology has been widely applied in knitting industry, production technology is more perfect, product level has been significantly improved, knitwear application is more extensive.

    At the same time, Professor Chen also introduced the knitting technology, performance, application and the current development and application cases of warp knitting in the field of high performance fiber, so that students can have a deeper understanding of knitting industry, and inspire students' infinite reverie for their broad market.

    Prof. Wu Haibo, deputy director of the engineering department, explained the related contents of nonwoven industry for students. By analyzing the concept, processing route, networking method and application field of nonwovens, the technical progress of nonwoven web forming, needle punching, spunlacing, hot bonding, spinning and melting, on-line testing and so on were compared and analyzed, so that the students had a clearer understanding of nonwovens and all kinds of nonwoven technologies.
