"Art + Legacy, Inheriting The Millennium Beauty", Let The Tide Of Non Heritage Into Fashion Life.

Recently, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology joined hands with vip.com public service to launch a new conference on "Art + legacy" and "Millennium beauty" at the fashion week Beijing Wangfujing show.

The work of this conference is rooted in discovering and spreading intangible cultural heritage, importing designer resources for aesthetic reconstruction and modern fashion design of non heritage products, with clothing, luggage, shoes and caps, jewelry and other products as the carrier, to expand the market development space for non heritage products, and promote the activation and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage with modern aesthetics and electricity supplier operation.

At the same time, the activities announced that vip.com's public interest and Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology jointly built the "love workshop", which will be officially launched in late November. At that time, a number of cross border design products will be launched on this occasion, and many famous designers will be gathered to integrate the heritage into fashion and lead the new trend of heritage.

Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, founded in 1959, is the first clothing college in China. The whole conference is divided into three chapters, one of which comes from the two independent designers representing Jiang Xi and Zhang Yuanjing, who graduated from Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology.

For the past two years, the designers have studied traditional culture and non heritage handicrafts as the research direction. They have been firmly using the contemporary art design language to explore the way of products with Chinese cultural connotation and fashion spirit.

Their works are mainly made by traditional craftsmen, and embroidery on their works is made up of embroidered mothers and needlework. It takes tens of hours to be carefully embroidered. It seems to be traditional, but it is through many innovative techniques, high-tech means and modern design language and technology to reconstruct the beautiful scenery of traditional skills in fashion products.

Zhang Yuanjing, a Bachelor of textile art and design from Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, is engaged in the re design and research work of the intangible cultural heritage. He founded the source of life in Beijing.

He was invited to Beijing international design week and Milan international handicraft exhibition.

Jointly develop traditional Chinese handicrafts with international luggage brand Obrish and international jewelry brand Wolf.

The product of chapter two is a series of derivatives of "the awakening of millennial beauty - the legacy of all things" jointly launched by vip.com public welfare "love workshop" electric business public welfare platform and Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology.

Through the cooperation between schools and enterprises, the two sides have applied academic research, product design and research, technological innovation and design personnel training and other advantages to non heritage derivatives. Through joint industry guidance, non heritage talent cultivation, intangible heritage fashion products, and e-commerce public sale, the modern lifestyle, fashion commercialization and sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage have been promoted. In particular, outstanding designers at home and abroad have deeply participated in the reconstruction of intangible heritage aesthetics, breaking through reshaping and carving, showing the unique charm of intangible heritage culture, and making traditional handicraft new development in modern design.

Love workshop "awakening the beauty of a thousand years", a series of special events launched

Take Gao Wei, a tutor of the non heritage training course at Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology as an example. He worked in fashion design for nearly 30 years. He studied in Paris Design Institute, and founded a designer personal brand GAOWEI+XINZHAN in Paris, and participated in the French fashion week in Paris for 13 years in a row.

Gao Wei used the technology of paper-cut to be used in costume design. Instead of paper, he applied traditional high temperature composite technology to traditional costumes, and used modern language to express his traditional skills.

The product of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology's cooperation with vip.com's public welfare will be launched in the late November, and it is believed that a new wave of fashion will be launched.

Chapter three is the finale link. The product is from the associate professor of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Yang Jie, Vice Dean of the school of clothing art and engineering, Professor Guo Ruiping of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, and Liang Yan, an associate professor of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology.

Yang Jie's vice president's "blue violet" series is a constant attempt to blend the dress culture of the Miao nationality and the international design perspective for many years. From the works, you can feel the unique embroidery techniques of Miao embroidery, such as embroidery, seed embroidery, folding embroidery, broken line embroidery, wrinkle embroidery, horsetail embroidery, lock embroidery, and so on.

Miao embroidery combines different forms of images freely, without being constrained by natural form and time and space. Through artistic abstraction, it is bold to exaggerate the deformation and become full of fun, and express the blessing of a happy and happy life.

Traditional bright cloth, bucket cloth and various embroidery techniques are combined with modern cutting techniques, enriching the works that convey moving stories from texture and form.

Professor Guo Ruiping's "Egret is frost" series, "egrets for frost - non heritage clothing show" design inspiration comes from the twenty-four solar terms - Bailu.

The work selected the White Dew season, the cold artistic conception, the imagination in the morning mist of the Ling River, the elegant and smart posture of the egret's independence.

"Pale green, White Dew is frost, the so-called" Yi Ren "is homophone on the water side, dew and Heron. If the heron is an invisible person, it can be seen but not far away.

Associate professor Liang Yan's "nine wild" series, style relaxed, lazy; bright purple, green, bright yellow, peach red......

The strong colors in Chinese traditional culture are presented in the works, especially the mysterious purple with traditional color meaning of Royal costumes, which is more mysterious. The common images in traditional culture are Qinglong, white tiger, Xuanwu, rosefinch, crane and unicorn.

This conference shows more than 400 spectators on the scene, such as summer cloth, Dong cloth, Dong embroidery, Hami embroidery, batik, Yi embroidery, silk mosaic, and other non heritage art derivatives. The crossover and heritage of craftsmen and designers have broken through reshaping and elaborately carved, showing the unique charm of the intangible cultural Heritage vividly, making the traditional handicraft shining new and modern collision in modern design, and producing more than 70 sets of non heritage elements.
