India Trade Union minister Smriti Irani recently said that in the field of clothing, the United States, the United Kingdom and even the whole Europe have their own size standards, but India regrets that it is missing. This is one of the biggest challenges facing India's clothing export field. However, according to her, India will soon have its own set of standards in the textile and garment industry.

Smriti Irani said that in the past 4 and a half years, the central government, led by India Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has allocated more than 18 billion rupees to Gujarat to upgrade technology in the textile industry.
