Donghua University Teachers And Students Bring Guizhou'S Intangible Heritage Research And Training Achievements Into Brazil.

The costumes include 21 sets of garments designed by Donghua University's "traditional embroidery creative design" training class, and 12 sets of Guizhou Miao batik dress and 3 sets of Guizhou ethnic costumes.

It is understood that in September 7, 2016, Donghua University held the first training course of "traditional embroidery creative design" for the inheriting group of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. Up to now, there have been 5 successful completion of the training course. The participants mainly came from Miao, Dong, Buyi and Shui people in Qiannan, Qiandongnan and southwest Guizhou.

After a series of curriculum learning, related market research, visiting studio designers and so on, the inheritors are familiar with and understand the modern fashion and design concept, have a new understanding of the inheritance and innovation of the traditional culture, and inspire them to invest more updated design works after returning home.

In the process of research and development, Donghua University introduced the students of fashion design major in international famous universities, paired with creative students and non heritage students of the art and design major of Donghua University, complementing the advantages of students' design ability and the exquisite workmanship of the art of non heritage colleges, inspired each other, expanded their design thinking, and enhanced the ability of non heritage students to apply embroidery to dress design, highlighting the integration of traditional techniques and modern design, and promoting students' comprehensive understanding of embroidery and embroidery application.
