In recent years, many museums in our province have carried out close exchanges and cooperation with other Asian countries and institutions, telling the story of Zhejiang and showing the aesthetics of Jiangnan.

In the Chinese Silk Museum on the West Lake, "Meili cloud dress: the Sino Korean cooperation, the unearthed Ming Dynasty dress restoration and restoration exhibition unearthed in Jiaxing Wang Dian" tells the story of a long years of cooperation between China and South Korea in restoring and restoring the Ming Dynasty costumes.

In the Fashion Museum, "a strip of water: the Korean traditional costume and fabric show" shows 115 Korean clothing and textiles from fourteenth Century to twentieth Century. From February 2011 to November, the Liangzhu Museum selected 6 Liangzhu Cultural Artifacts to appear in the National Museum of India at the "China Treasures Exhibition" jointly sponsored by China National Heritage Bureau and the archaeological Bureau of India.

In 2018, the Zhejiang Provincial Museum launched the original overseas exhibition project "Jiangnan life aesthetics Exhibition".

From February to March this year, the upgraded version of "Jiangnan life aesthetics Exhibition" was exhibited at the center of Chinese culture in Moscow, Russia.

In the Zhejiang Museum of natural history, Anji, the dinosaur museum, the natural art gallery and the geological museum are all designed by Japanese companies.

As the only provincial-level Museum of natural history in our province, since its establishment in 1984, the Zhejiang Museum of natural history has been committed to developing external exchanges and cooperation. After several generations of unremitting efforts, the museum has gained some experience in developing overseas exhibition of fossils.

In May 18, 2017, on the international museum day, the Chinese Silk Museum, as one of the initiators, initiated the establishment of the International Federation of Silk Road museums in Beijing.

As one of the five major international confederation of silk road led by the Ministry of culture and tourism, the Federation of silk road international museums is an exchange platform for the countries and regions along the Silk Road in the field of heritage.
