Nike'S Resurrection Has Been Shot, The Naming Scheme "Shoe Dog" Suit Will Be On Sale.
As one of Nike's most famous shoes, Nike Cortez, first launched in 1972, plays an important role in brand history, especially in the history of logo evolution.
Nike's predecessor, Blue Ribbon Sports, is a distributor of Japan's running shoes brand Onitsuka Tiger.
Before the official release of NikeCortez, Phil Nate and Phil of the company (Phil Knight) and BillBowerman made several modifications to the brand name and logo. They tried different combinations to make a thorough distinction between the tiger and the tiger. However, the design details of the two are highly similar, so it is easy to see the reference source of the design of the NikeCortez.
The upcoming Shoe Dog brand is just paying tribute to the history of the brand, bringing back the three designs of the year to the public.
In 1971, Caroline Davidson, who was still studying at Portland State University, sold the "NikeSwoosh" to Nike for $35 at Carolyn Davidson.
One of the most similar versions of the "shoe dog" suit with the official release is the restoration of Davidson's original slender logo design. The remaining two tribute tribute to the two real naming schemes of "six dimensions" (DimensionSix) and "Falcon" (Falcon).
The former is inspired by founder NAT's love for the American pop band The 5thDimension, while the latter is the imitation of Puma cheetah logo.
The suit will be on sale in July 2019, and the price of three pairs of shoes will be priced at $120.
