Chinese Clothing Is " Korea Makes " A Korean Designer Made A Profit Of 700 Million Won.
Recently, a senior Korean designer was placed on file for investigation because of his unique way of making money.
According to the MBC news of Korea 19, the Korean customs office said the designer had his own counter in 12 Korean department stores. It bought 6946 Chinese garments at low prices, disguised as made in Korea, and then put on their original labels, then sold them from the department store counters at a high price, earning a profit of 700 million won (4 million 106 thousand yuan).
The designer claimed that the product was not in short supply because of his design and production. From June 2017 to March this year, designers imported cheap clothes from the East Gate market of Korea Seoul or China, and then camouflaged their work rooms.
According to the report, 1 shirts bought at 60 yuan in the East Gate market were sold at a high price of 400 yuan in department stores. And a 1600 yuan imported Chinese coat was sold to 7600 yuan.
At present, the designer has been spanferred to the prosecution. Apart from violating the foreign trade law, the customs office of Korea has recovered 44 million yuan (258 thousand yuan) of illegal gains.
