"The first three cotton mill was moved from Tianjin." Chen Huanying told reporters that when she was 5 years old, his father was a cadre of Tianjin Textile Bureau. That year, in order to support the construction of Shijiazhuang cotton mill, their family moved to Shijiazhuang with their father. Chen Huanying said that when they first arrived in Shijiazhuang, due to the full work done in the early stage of investment, the facilities in the three cotton textile factory were quite complete. Factories, dormitories, schools, nurseries, staff hospitals, canteens, vegetable shops and so on, including the Hui canteens, could be said to have everything.

Chen Huanying was especially excited when he remembered her childhood. At that time, most of the cotton plants outside the three factories were wheat fields. I remember that the school also organized students to collect wheat ears from wheat fields, pick up horse manure, and then send them to nearby villages. At that time, learning from Lei Feng, everyone was singing "learning Lei Feng's good example" songs to do the work.

Chen Huanying said that when she was 7 years old, she went to the primary school of cotton three workers. At the age of 17, she passed the examination and entered the cotton three textile mill as a textile worker. Because of her youth, culture and dancing, she was soon chosen to enter the factory's literary and art propaganda team. "I was happy at that time. I often went to the workshop with my team members to perform for the staff, which was very popular with everyone."

Chen Huanying introduced that at that time it was a glorious work, a factory like home and a strong sense of collectivism. After spending several years in the propaganda team, she went back to the workshop and continued to work as a textile worker. The specific type of work was the spinning doffing. In the first few years of work, the monthly salary can be 31 yuan, and the monthly salary in 80s of last century is 57.7 yuan. Chen Huanying said that in those days, it was not enough to spend thousands of dollars a month. She was tens of dollars a month, and her life was enough.

Chen Huanying said that she was very conscientious in her work, and had also entered the party honorably. Later, she spent the rest of her life working as an ordinary worker in the workshop until retirement.
