"The next stage of development of tree roots will attach more importance to ecological strategies, because the needs of industrial enterprises are often based on certain industry scenarios and have a holistic solution." A few days ago, Huang Sheng told an exclusive interview with the economic news reporters in twenty-first Century that the next root network will build more industry platforms based on the root cloud platform and the leading enterprises in the joint industry, thus promoting the formation of the platform ecosystem.

Build "root cloud" 4

In China, the industrial Internet is rapidly coming down from the concept. According to Huachen capital, the scale of China's industrial Internet market is about 470 billion yuan in 2017, and it is expected to increase by about 18% annually between 2018 and 2019. Specifically to market segmentation, the proportion of infrastructure, software and applications, communications and platforms, and industrial safety is 40.90%, 30.70%, 27.60% and 0.80% respectively.

However, the current manufacturing industry in China is facing three problems: overcapacity in traditional manufacturing industry, rising production costs (manpower, environment, land and financing, etc.), inadequate R & D investment, and urgent upgrading of technology and products. Then, how can we find the right way to play in the early stage of the rapid expansion of the industrial Internet to help upgrade the traditional manufacturing industry?

Huang Sheng knows that in terms of the service objects of the industrial Internet, the industrial sectors are divided more, and the differences between the various sub sectors are relatively large, which may lead to a distinct demand differentiation among different customers.

In view of this situation, Huang Sheng combed the application service system of tree roots into "2+2" development strategy. "2+2" is the application of pointer to four aspects of user demand: post market services, asset management, energy management and financial leasing.

"After the interconnection of roots, the development will remain unchanged. It will still focus on building an industrial Internet platform and increasing investment in research and development of 2+2 platforms. At the same time, it is more important to focus on platform based applications rather than traditional solutions. Huang pointed out that different industrial enterprises will have different needs. As a company that focuses on building an industrial Internet platform, it is impossible to complete all the solutions. Therefore, it is necessary to build an ecosystem based on the commonalities. The next step of development will increase the ecological expansion.

In fact, the common part of industrial application is application independent platform layer and application related middle tier. Different industries will have different devices and protocols, and different industry segments will have different industry applications. "Both equipment and application need to be built together by ecology. A very important value of industrial Internet platform is to build more high-value industrial applications at lower cost." Huang Sheng added.

At present, the root interconnection is mainly based on its own R & D controllable industrial Internet root cloud platform, providing platform services to cross industry and cross regional industrial enterprises. In view of the continuous accumulation of users' real needs and the recognition of the evolution of future market needs, the "root cloud" platform has undergone several iterations.

According to Huang Sheng, the 4 version of the root cloud platform has been launched and is planned to be launched in 2020. After more than three years of exploration of the market, the 4 version will introduce a forward compatible long term stable version according to user needs and new technical characteristics. In addition, platform updates will remain compatible with previous versions, enabling users of previous versions to be seamless.

Huang said: "with the continuous driving of new and industrial forms of digitalization and intellectualization, the industrial Internet will become an important sector of competition among the major industrial nations in the world, and will also become a common choice for all countries to seek new economic growth points."

At present, the industrial manufacturing industry is constantly facing new challenges. On the one hand, orders are increasingly putting forward differentiated demand; on the other hand, traditional centralized control production organization mode can no longer meet the individualization of consumption, and production activities are developing towards decentralized network.
