The Third China Textile Heritage Conference Was Held In Kunming

The third China Textile intangible cultural heritage conference, with the theme of "opening up a new era of textile heritage development", was held in Kunming, Yunnan on 2-3 November. This is a joint venture between the school and the Association for the development of non heritage businesses at the 70th anniversary time of the founding of new China.

The current China Textile intangible cultural heritage conference is sponsored by the China Textile Industry Federation. It is co sponsored by the China Textile Industry Federation, the China Nonwoven Cultural Heritage Office, the China Textile Alliance News Center, the Kunming Institute of Yunnan, the first new business division of Kunming capital, and the first innovation development platform. As a benchmark meeting for the industry to fulfill its social responsibilities and inherit traditional culture, it is conducive to the implementation of the revitalization plan of the national traditional technology, the integration of literature and tourism and the promotion of consumption upgrading. The 3 day conference will promote the inheritance, development and innovation of textile intangible cultural heritage through keynote speeches, seminars, exhibitions and experiences.

Creating "textile fate community"

Wang Chenyang, deputy director of the Department of intangible cultural heritage of the Ministry of culture and tourism, attended the conference. He said that the intangible cultural heritage is the heritage of Chinese culture and spirit, providing cultural identity and emotional continuity for the Chinese nation. The China Federation of textile industry has responded positively to the call of the state, and through a series of vivid practices, has promoted the textile industry to participate in the inheritance and protection of intangible heritage, forming the fate community of textile heritage. At the meeting, Wang Chenyang further put forward, "we hope that textile products will be designed to create a product by impressing one trick and one skill, effectively promoting intangible cultural heritage to help the poor in precision, and vividly interpreting the beauty of labor and the beauty of life through a hint of a single thread," and vividly interpreting the essence of Chinese traditional virtues and Chinese culture through one dyeing, one coat and one ornament.

Gao Yong, Party Secretary of the China Textile Industry Federation, delivered a keynote speech around the opening of the new era of textile heritage development. First, he made a report on the progress made in the non heritage work of the China Textile Federation: the annual industry non Heritage Convention has become an important platform for displaying the achievements of textile non genetic development and exchanging ideas; the "Splendid China" heritage show and the China International Fashion Week combine traditional textile technology with modern fashion design; field investigations in minority areas provide advice and suggestions for the relevant government departments to revitalize the traditional technology; the compilation and publication of the development report of China's textile intangible cultural heritage has recorded the development process of the history of the textile industry.

Carrying out the concept of "creative transformation and innovative development", putting the inheritance and development of textile heritage into the industry's "four or five" plan, setting up the direction and task measures in line with the requirements of the national development, actively cooperating with departments and institutions, and connecting the non legacy resources with the consumption of life, achieving "seeing people, seeing things and seeing life"; giving play to the advantages of the industry expo and fashion week platform, creating a blend of non heritage elements, and producing, circulating, and expendable textile legacy products; paying attention to the intangible heritage resources of ethnic minorities, promoting the protection and inheritance of the textile heritage of ethnic minorities, helping the precise poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and promoting the cross-border integration of textile heritage and cultural tourism, arts and crafts and other related industries and cultural and creative enterprises. As an important event of the non heritage conference, the annual Ambassador of China's textile heritage promotion has attracted much attention. In the previous two non heritage meetings, 22 Chinese textile Heritage Ambassadors were born. They made great efforts and efforts to protect, inherit and innovate the intangible cultural heritage of textiles. At the opening ceremony, the 12 third "pioneer Cup" 2019 Chinese textile heritage Promotion Ambassador was unveiled, and they were awarded certificates and certificates.

As a highlight of the series of activities of the non Heritage Convention, the collection and design of the souvenir design of the third China Textile heritage conference started 3 months after the collection, primary and final evaluation. Finally, 8 groups of individuals and teams were selected, and certificates were issued. "I and non heritage" micro film selection activities received a total of 212 works, and finally awarded 5 categories, 41 individual awards, 13 instructors, 8 outstanding teams, a total of 62, and issued certificates.

With the theme of "Splendid China and colorful clouds" as the theme, the grand axis shows the fusion of Chinese ancient splendid civilization and Yunnan minority life scenes. The combination of situational performance and costumes shows the colorful Yunnan minority dress culture perfectly, bringing the movement to a new climax.

"+ Exhibition" helps textile heritage heritage and innovation

During the keynote session of the conference, experts from industry and academia were invited to explore the survival and development of textile intangible cultural heritage in the new era from the perspectives of artistic aesthetics, cultural space, branding, cultural tourism integration and Rural Revitalization.

The exhibition of "heritage of the motherland, poly American Heritage" textile heritage exhibition covers 16 traditional skills, including Suzhou embroidery, Chaoxiu, Miao embroidery, Song Jin, Lan Yinhua, and Xiangyun gauze, which are divided into five series: "non heritage + cultural tourism creation", "non heritage + clothing and clothing", "non heritage + home decoration", "non heritage + environmental art", "non heritage + artistic creation".
