Vice President Zhang Xian Meets With Vice Mayor Of Xinmi, Henan Province

On November 12th, vice president Zhang Xian met with Qi Zhihui, vice mayor of Xinmi Municipal People's Government of Henan province.

Vice Mayor Qi first introduced the history and current situation of the development of Xinmi's textile and garment industry. He pointed out that Xinmi, as a famous city of clothing brand in Henan, has a certain industrial foundation, and there are more than 200 local textile and garment enterprises, with an annual output value of 110 million pieces and sales revenue of more than 20 billion yuan. As the pillar industry of the local industry, the clothing industry has been concerned by governments at all levels and is making great strides towards internationalization and industrialization.

Vice President Zhang Xian introduced to mayor Qi the characteristics of the current textile and clothing trade pattern and the experience of transformation and upgrading of foreign trade enterprises. He also expressed his hope that through joint efforts with the Xinmi municipal government, the local labor resources advantage should be exerted to undertake the transfer of orders in the East, to create Xinmi's famous textile and Garment City, and to bring regional advantages into play to promote the sustainable development of the textile and garment industry.
