The competition first provided the industry's first open high quality fabric defect data set, and developers used the deep learning method to design a special defect detection algorithm model. The overall accuracy rate was over 91%, which is undoubtedly a great breakthrough for the intelligent upgrading of textile industry. In addition, in the field of cloth cutting competition, a large number of excellent research results have emerged, and the average utilization rate of fabrics has increased by 2.21%.

The textile and garment industry is only a microcosm of Guangdong's "digital infrastructure" for new manufacturing. Cloud computing, Internet of things and AI have become new engines of Guangdong's manufacturing development.
