Cotton Textile Standard Annual Meeting Convenes Three Textile Sizing Industry Standards Revised

Recently, the 2019 cotton textile standard annual meeting was held in Nanjing. At the meeting, it considered and revised the "three kinds of textile sizing agents", namely "acrylic acid sizing for textile warp sizing", "test method for testing acrylic acid sizing agents for textile warp sizing", "determination of viscosity of textile acrylic yarn sizing test for textile warp sizing", and other related standards.

The above three industry standards have been set up for more than five years. According to the requirements of the Ministry of industry's standard revision plan, they are included in this year's standard revision work plan. As we all know, polyacrylic acid size is one of the three main sizing agents in the textile sizing industry. It plays an important role in the process of replacing PVA sizing. However, due to the professional knowledge of chemical polymerization, chemical production and so on in the process of R & D, production and inspection, textile enterprises have some difficulties in product identification and related indicators inspection. In order to better standardize the acrylic acid sizing industry, so that standards can better guide the development of the industry, the members and experts of the bidding committee seriously discussed, revised and determined the index data and test methods in the standard, trying to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the pulp industry. Next, the relevant standards will be reported to be approved. It is expected to replace the old standards in 2020.
