Rolex Announced Its 10 Day Stoppage And Closed 3 Factories Due To New Crown.
Following the Swiss closure of the country in the early morning, Rolex announced today that it will stop production for 10 days. If the impact of the epidemic is reduced, the factory will be reopened in March 27th.
Rolex CEO Jean-Fr e d ric Dufour announced letters to employees: it will stop production for 10 days in March 17th and close three factories (Geneva, Bill, Chrissy M).
The annual output of Rolex watches can reach about 1 million, with an average of more than 2700 watches per day, and 10 days' downtime will affect the output of nearly 30 thousand watches.
