80 Countries And Regions Around The World Have Banned Or Restricted Export Anti Epidemic Materials.
Beijing time 24 news, the World Trade Organization (WTO) reported on Thursday that since the outbreak of the new crown virus outbreak, 80 countries and regions around the world have banned or restricted export masks, protective appliances, gloves and other materials needed to fight the epidemic.
WTO said that these countries and regions, including its 72 member countries, but only 13 member states have informed WTO in accordance with the regulations.
WTO said the lack of transparency and the failure of international cooperation could undermine efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 disease, which has infected 2 million 640 thousand people around the world, killing 184910 people.
The WTO also said that these restrictions could prompt other countries to follow suit and further reduce the available supply of anti epidemic materials.
