Yuepu Lake: Ginning Plant Is Expected To Finish Processing In Mid January

At present, the purchase, settlement and payment of seed cotton in the local ginning plant of Yuepu lake have been basically completed. Due to the continuous rain and snow weather in early December, the moisture regain rate of lint processed is higher than that in previous years. It is understood that most of the ginning plants are expected to finish processing in mid January.

According to the local credit cooperatives, with the end of settlement of cotton farmers' purchase funds, some local ginning plants are actively using the remaining funds to repay the purchase loans. According to the person in charge of the ginning plants, they will consider releasing part of the lint inventory to ease the capital pressure and repay part of the bank loans and interest before the year.
