Zhengzhou To Build Yellow River National Museum And Textile Industry Heritage Museum

At present, how about the construction of museums in Zhengzhou? On December 29, the 21st Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 15th Municipal People's Congress heard a report on the construction of Zhengzhou Museum. At present, there are 68 museums at all levels in Zhengzhou. A museum system with diversified subjects, optimized structure, distinctive features and vitality is taking shape.

According to the report, at present, Zhengzhou has 68 museums of all kinds and at all levels, and 10 museums at or above the third level, with 650000 pieces of cultural relics and 100000 pieces of precious cultural relics.

With a total investment of 530 million yuan, Zhengzhou Shangdu site museum and Zhengzhou Institute of cultural relics and archaeology will be built and opened in the near future;

Relying on a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan, the Yangyun Culture Museum and the Central Plains archaeological research and Exhibition Center in Dahe village National Archaeological Site Park have been officially started this year.

At the same time, the Yellow River National Museum, Zhengzhou Cherry Valley early human origin site museum, Zhengzhou Canal Heritage Museum, Zhengzhou Textile Industry Heritage Museum are actively promoting.

The report also mentioned that Zhengzhou actively organized the 9th China Museum and related products and Technology Expo.

According to the decision of the State Administration of cultural relics, the 9th Expo will be postponed to September 2021. At that time, there will be nearly 1000 museums at home and abroad, more than 15000 cultural and Expo guests and enterprise representatives from more than 50 countries and regions.
