They are indispensable raw and auxiliary materials in the textile and dyeing industry, and directly affect the 9 trillion scale textile and garment industry in China. Wang Jiangang, chief of the textile chemical section of Shaoxing quality and technical supervision and testing institute, said that before, textile chemical production enterprises in Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions had to go to Shanghai, Shenyang and even Hong Kong for testing. Now, the whole industrial chain testing of textile chemicals can be realized at home.

Shaoxing is the largest textile printing and dyeing industry base in China, and enjoys a high reputation in the whole country and even in the world. In particular, the production capacity of textile chemicals accounts for 50% of the whole country. The establishment of the center can provide technical services for the transformation and upgrading of enterprises." Wang Jiangang said that on the one hand, the center can provide technical support for Shaoxing to develop green printing and dyeing and build a global high-performance dye manufacturing center. On the other hand, it will also provide technical support for domestic textile printing and dyeing enterprises to cope with EU trade barriers.

It is understood that the national textile chemical quality supervision and Inspection Center (Zhejiang) is the third national quality inspection center established by Shaoxing quality and technology supervision and testing institute after the national environmental protection equipment quality supervision and Inspection Center (Zhejiang) and the national non-ferrous metal processing product quality supervision and Inspection Center (Zhejiang).
