Introduction: during the Spring Festival holiday, crude oil rose strongly, and the cost promoted the price of polyester staple fiber and staple fiber all the way up. In particular, on the first day of the market opening after the festival, local areas rose four times in a row. Pure polyester yarn enterprises were reluctant to sell many plates, and downstream traders and weaving enterprises held a wait-and-see attitude towards the supply of goods after the sharp rise. Will weaving enterprises delay the resumption of work due to the rapid rise of yarn? Is the inventory of finished products reasonable and controllable?

In terms of cities, most enterprises in Changle District of Fujian Province started their operations from February 14 to 17 (from the third day of the first month to the sixth day of the first month). About 50% of the workers of large local enterprises stayed in the factory for the new year. The startup load recovered smoothly, and the load of some enterprises recovered to 70-80%.

Jiangsu: most of the enterprises in Nantong area start up from February 17 to 19 (from the sixth day of the first month to the eighth day of the first month). Most enterprises plan to start up and resume work near February 21 (the tenth day of the first month). From the demand side, with the end of the Spring Festival holiday, weaving enterprises gradually return to work and production. Forecast of market price trend after the festival

PTA spot rose 200 to 4140, ethylene glycol spot rose 656 to 5355, polyester cost increased 360.28 to 5333.63, polyester staple market transaction benchmark price 7140 increased 265 compared with before the festival, polyester staple fiber futures rose 590 to 7734. Driven by the cost side, the pure polyester yarn enterprises are reluctant to sell more, and a few enterprises have increased their offer by 500-800 yuan / ton compared with that before the festival. The downstream traders and weaving enterprises are mostly in the state of vacation and shutdown. It still needs time to digest the supply after the sharp rise. At present, the pure polyester yarn inventory is at a low level and the yarn enterprises hold certain pre-sale orders. It is estimated that the transaction price of pure polyester yarn in Fujian may reach 12800-13 000 yuan / ton.
