In February, The National Clothing Factory Price Dropped By 1.3% Year On Year

According to the National Bureau of statistics, in February 2021, the factory price of industrial producers in China increased by 1.7% year-on-year and 0.8% month on month; the purchase price of industrial producers increased by 2.4% year-on-year and 1.2% month on month. From January to February, the ex factory prices of industrial producers rose by 1.0% over the same period last year, and the purchase prices of industrial producers rose by 1.6%.

Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production rose by 2.3% year-on-year, 1.8% higher than that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 1.71%. Among them, the price of raw materials industry increased by 2.9% year-on-year, and the price of processing industry increased by 1.7%. The price of means of living decreased by 0.2% year-on-year, the same as that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of the ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 0.05 percentage points. Among them, clothing prices fell by 1.3% year-on-year.

Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production rose by 1.1% month on month, down 0.1% compared with the previous month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.80%. Among them, the price of raw materials industry rose by 2.1% month on month, and the price of processing industry rose by 0.4% month on month. The price of means of living turned to be flat on a month on month basis. Among them, clothing prices are flat.
