From this perspective, what eggplant technology has done, whether it is building its own advertising trading platform or launching payment applications, is doing a benchmarking giant or even subverting the giant. In the face of the oppressive power of overseas advertising giants, eggplant technology at least with its own strength to tear open a hole.
In other words, Chinese enterprises going to the emerging markets in the future, at least in addition to Google and Facebook, have a new and local choice. The imagination space behind it is far higher than the story of obtaining users through near-field transmission and "selling traffic" to giants. The same is to do b-end business, eggplant technology positioning itself as "infrastructure provider", to do "things through the cycle".
But that doesn't mean eggplant technology is risk-free. Whether it's Google or Facebook, or Alibaba or byte skipping in China, the giants have abundant accumulation in the field of advertising and payment, and "bayonet" with giants still needs considerable strength.
Fortunately, the current market of eggplant technology is a market that magnates "disdain" to a certain extent. It is not without stories of "dirty work, hard work" that perfectly matches the needs of users, so as to realize counter attack and breakthrough. Pinduoduo is a typical example.
However, there is no answer to the question of how long such regional differences and time differences can last. At a certain time point in the future, whether the giants will see the value of emerging sinking markets and use their own resources to form phagocytosis and counter attack is still unclear.
However, from the financing situation of eggplant technology, we can see the attitude of capital to a certain extent. In May 2020, eggplant technology was supported by Tencent and express. Although the financing amount was not disclosed, the potential of eggplant technology super platform is gradually recognized.
