Cambodian Garment Export $2.4 Billion In The First Quarter Of 2021
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Finance and economics of Cambodia, in the first quarter of 2021, the export value of ready-made clothes, shoes and travel goods was $2.4 billion, down 10% year-on-year. The Ministry of labor and vocational training of Cambodia and the garment manufacturers association of Cambodia (GMAC) appeal to the buyers and other stakeholders to understand that the shutdown caused by the closure of the city in Cambodia resulted in the delay in the delivery of clothing products, and the buyers are requested to exempt from the penalty.
