After the successful holding of the first China College Students' women's wear design competition in 2020, this Oriental cup · 2021 China Women's wear design competition continues to make oars with youth creativity, and jointly explore the creative expression ideas of "Oriental fashion".

The competition is jointly sponsored by the people's Government of Shengze Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province and China Fashion Designers Association. It aims to excavate and cultivate women's clothing design talents, lead the industry fashion transformation, realize the "innovation and innovation" integration of "original fabric" and "original design", and fully demonstrate the innovative practice spirit of Shengze "fashion city". ?

Since its launch in October last year, the competition has attracted 92 fashion design colleges and 1200 women's fashion designers to actively participate in the competition. A total of more than 2000 design drawings have been received. After intense preliminary selection, 31 new designers finally made it to the finals. The designers' definition of fashion is far more than fabric, pattern and tailoring. They will control the details of clothing, express the symbolic meaning through the pattern and color, and even the information conveyed by a button, so as to pave the way for shaping female characters and show the possibility of another fashion world.

"Shengze Cup" 2021 Jiangsu top ten fashion designers Since its launch on April 21, enterprises, design institutions, colleges and clothing design professionals in the province have actively signed up. Although the solicitation time is only 21 days, designers are actively participating. A total of 128 designers have signed up for the evaluation!

After careful evaluation and strict selection by senior judges in fashion design industry, 21 designers and their design works finally stood out and were shortlisted for the final evaluation. They will compete during Shengze fashion week to select 10 top 2021 Jiangsu fashion designers, and the rest are 2021 Jiangsu top 10 fashion designers. ?

The judges agreed that the works of the contestants can fully show the young designers' attention to the current society, reflect the current fashion design trend, and fully show the high level of Jiangsu fashion design.

It is understood that many of the participants have professional college background, including talents from the world's top fashion colleges, such as St. Martin in the UK and Parsons in the United States. Many large enterprises in the province also actively participate in fashion designers, in addition, there are many companies in the second generation of leaders signed up to participate.

In May, 21 finalists entered Shengze one after another, and made special docking with dozens of Shengze's preferred fabric enterprises, such as Yuanyuan silk, Fuwen textile and hailou textile, in order to purchase fabrics for the final clothing.
