China's textile and garment exports have maintained a good growth trend despite the adverse factors such as soaring sea freight, production and electricity restrictions, and rising prices of raw materials. According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs on October 13, textile and clothing exports in September ended the decline for four consecutive months and resumed growth. In the same month, exports increased by 2.66% year-on-year, 18.81% compared with the same period in 2019.

From January to September 2021, the cumulative export of textile and clothing was 1473.89 billion yuan, down 2.63% compared with the same period of last year (the same below), and increased by 6.65% compared with the same period in 2019, including 681.32 billion yuan of textile exports, a decrease of 17.7%, an increase of 11.81% over the same period of 2019, and an increase of 15.5% and 2.58% over the same period of 2019.

In September, the export of textile and clothing was 189 billion yuan, down 3.96%, 2.96% month on month, 10.04% higher than that in the same period of 2019, including 80.51 billion yuan of textile export, a decrease of 11.75%, a decrease of 0.57%, an increase of 17.74% over the same period of 2019, and a growth of 2.78% and a decrease of 4.66% compared with the same period of 2019.

From January to September of 2021, the cumulative export of textile and clothing was 227.594 billion US dollars, an increase of 5.61%, an increase of 12.7% compared with that of 2019, of which the textile export was 105.179 billion US dollars, down 10.7%, increased by 17.97% compared with 2019, and the clothing export was 122.415 billion US dollars, an increase of 25.3%, and an increase of 8.53% compared with that of 2019.

In September, the export of textile and clothing was US $29.132 billion, an increase of 2.66%, a decrease of 3.29% on a month on month basis, and an increase of 18.81% over the same period in 2019, including a decrease of 5.65% in textile export of 12.409 billion in September, a decrease of 0.92% on a month on month basis, an increase of 27.08% over the same period in 2019, an increase of 9.84% and a decrease of 4.98% on a month on month basis, and an increase of 13.34% over the same period in 2019. ?
