However, affected by the temperature, this year's clothing peak season has not yet arrived, and the "recruitment fever" is somewhat "cooling" compared with previous years.

"It's a simple process, but it's difficult to handle this collar." It was cold and overcast. After learning that this shirt needs to be made more than 1000 pieces and the unit price is 5.5 yuan per piece, they decide to accept the order. "Two people work together, one day can do about 80 pieces, each can get more than 200 yuan. Now it's almost noon, we need to start work quickly." A Liang hastily finished with the reporter, and then followed Sister Li with his companion.

In Datang Village, this kind of recruitment mode is very common, but this year the situation is different. "It's cold and business is not booming. It's too crowded here in the past years." Zhang Jie, from Tianmen, Hubei Province, shared her experience of finding a part-time job in the past week.

Mr. Gong's garment factory is one of the largest garment factories in Datang Village, with an area of about 1200 square meters and nearly 90 garment making stations. "This year's orders are a little less than the same period last year, but there are urgent orders. Since February 10, I will come out every day to recruit workers. Today, I have recruited seven or eight." He said.

Cause: seasonal shortage caused by order peak

Liang Xiaoxu, Secretary General of the international innovation ecological Valley Textile Industry Federation of CUHK, said that Guangzhou is the leading territory of China's fashion trend, and garment enterprises can complete the whole process of design, surface accessories selection, printing and finished sample clothes in one day as soon as possible. After purchasing cloth in the textile business district of CUHK, it is necessary to produce garments at the fastest speed. Therefore, garment processing and manufacturing industries in Datang Village, Kangle village and Lujiang village in the surrounding areas have been created.

"The clothing industry is closely related to seasonal changes. Seasonal labor shortage often occurs during the peak period of orders for spring and summer clothes and September autumn and winter clothes around the Spring Festival. Now it is the time for spring clothes to be put on, and some workers have not yet returned to Guangzhou. Therefore, it can be seen that the person in charge of the garment factory urgently recruits. The normal order will be restored in about two weeks." Liang Xiaoxu said.

He believes that due to the weather, after the Lantern Festival this year, the temperature in most parts of the country did not rise significantly, the spring clothing listing was hindered to some extent, the order volume of garment factories was not as "hot" as in previous years, and the recruitment fever in surrounding urban villages also decreased slightly. And "with the continuous warming of the national temperature, the real spring clothing season is coming."

For a long time, the phenomenon of seasonal labor shortage in textile processing industry around Zhongda textile business circle, especially after the Lantern Festival, has been troubling the garment enterprises in Guangzhou.

This year is Mr. Fang's fifth year of opening a clothing factory near the textile business circle of CUHK. According to him, at the peak of orders every year, a large number of small workshops often entrust skilled workers to complete the order production in the form of outsourcing. They are used to recruiting workers in the morning and taking workers into the factory in the afternoon. But the efficiency of recruitment is low, and sometimes a day can not recruit suitable technicians.

In May last year, Haizhu District successively developed and introduced professional recruitment platforms for online clothing industry, such as "material packer" and "buyihui", to help garment enterprises and industry employees to achieve invisible recruitment and job hunting, so as to improve the efficiency of supply and demand docking.

According to statistics, there are more than 8000 registered employers, more than 24000 registered individual users, more than 5000 post information and 27000 person times of communication and docking through the platform.

At the same time, Haizhu District has also set up employment assistance service stations in Fengyang, Ruibao, Jianghai and other streets where the clothing industry is relatively concentrated, and organizes the "daily recommendation" activity of employment service. "In the near future, we will hold special recruitment activities through multiple channels according to the changes in the employment demand of the clothing industry, and provide skills training docking, policy consultation and other services."
