Two Generations Of Blue Calico Are Invited To Teach

In response to the arrival of the national cultural and natural heritage day, Wu Yuanxin, the national inheritor of blue calico, Wu Lingshu and Ni Shenjian, the provincial and municipal inheritors, made a special trip to Beijing to participate in the recording of CCTV's intangible cultural heritage program.

On the same day, well-known CCTV hosts Ren Luyu and Zhang Yu, as well as film and television actor Wang Yijin, studied and experienced the unique charm of national intangible cultural heritage Nantong blue calico. During the recording, Mr. Wu introduced Nantong University's efforts in protecting, inheriting and researching blue calico in the past 20 years, with the support of the Ministry of culture and tourism, the Ministry of education and the Ministry of human resources and social security of Nantong University. The recording of the program expanded the influence of Nantong blue calico heritage. In the past five years, Nantong blue calico has been shot and reported by CCTV for 18 times, which has been widely concerned by the community.
