　　 In August 2022, China Garment Association officially released the list of "top 100 garment enterprises in 2021".

　　 According to the principle of "member participation and voluntary declaration", the top 100 garment enterprises in 2021 rank the three indicators of "operating income", "total profit" and "operating income profit margin". A total of 130 enterprises are listed in the list. From the provincial and municipal distribution, there are 33 in Jiangsu, 26 in Zhejiang, 17 in Shandong, 14 in Beijing, 8 in Guangdong, 7 in Fujian, 5 in Shanghai, 4 in Sichuan, 3 in Hunan and Anhui, 2 in Liaoning, Shanxi, Hebei, Chongqing, and 1 in Shaanxi and Henan.

　　 The top 100 enterprises are the main force of the clothing industry, and their leading role in the high-quality and innovative development of the industry continues to increase. In 2021, the top 100 garment enterprises present three characteristics

　　 First, industrial resources are gathering to the advantage enterprises. Among the enterprises on the list, there are 14 enterprises with operating income over 10 billion yuan and 69 enterprises with more than 1 billion yuan, 8 more than that in 2020; There are 13 enterprises with a total profit of more than 1 billion yuan and 44 enterprises with a total profit of more than 100 million yuan, 3 more than that in 2020.

　　 Second, the growth momentum of top 100 enterprises is strong. In terms of the total amount, the top 100 enterprises of "business income" in the clothing industry will achieve a total business income of 793.69 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of 15.4% over 2020; The top 100 enterprises of "total profit" achieved a total profit of 52.83 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7% over 2020; The average profit margin of top 100 enterprises of "operating income profit margin" reached 10.07%, 0.31 percentage point higher than that in 2020.

　　 Third, the R & D and stable production capacity of high-quality manufacturing enterprises has become an advanced and stable industry. Among the enterprises on the list, brand enterprises occupy the dominant position, with operating income and total profit accounting for 73.6% and 71.7% respectively. However, from the perspective of operating income profit margin, the profit margin of brand enterprises is 10.2%, which is 0.6% lower than that in 2020, while that of manufacturing enterprises is 7.2%, 0.3% higher than that in 2020.

　　 It should be noted that the "top 100 enterprises in the clothing industry" is exclusively released by China clothing association in the member enterprises based on the principle of objectivity and fairness, and this work has always followed the principle of voluntary participation of enterprises, which belongs to the industry work without any charges.
