Ministry Of Commerce: Uzbekistan Cooperates With The United States And Canada

Uzi News reported on August 6 that Uzbekistan ambassador to the United States vakhabov and the first vice president of Uzbek Textile Enterprises Association, Mr. surdanov, recently attended the 2022 traceability and sustainable development conference held by the US clothing and Footwear Association in Pittsburgh. At the meeting, all parties jointly studied the transparency of textile supply chain, the social responsibility of enterprises, environmental protection and sustainable development. The U.S. side also reported that when choosing partners for its domestic brands, it focused on its innovation ability and sustainable development concept. After the meeting, the Ukrainian side carried out relevant negotiations with well-known enterprises in the United States and Canada (Meiying aofei, Canada geese, Hagrid, fresh fruit Buyi and teperski group). Uzbekistan introduced in detail the competitive advantages, operation status and development potential of domestic enterprises. American and Canadian enterprises said they would participate in the Fifth International Textile and clothing industry exhibition to be held in Tashkent in October 2022.
