In addition, our city is also the largest knitting children's wear brand center and children's wear production center in China, as well as the largest production and processing base and wholesale market for children's wear in central and western regions.

Baizhuang Town, Beiguan District was awarded the title of "China's Famous Town of Children's Wear". At present, the production of children's wear accounts for about 30% of the country's total, and that of children aged 0 to 3 accounts for about 70% of the country's total. With the rapid development of underwear manufacturing industry, the annual output of our city has exceeded 900 million pieces, and the domestic market share has exceeded 20%. The reporter learned that at present, there are about 10000 textile and clothing enterprises (including individual businesses) in our city, including more than 300 with an annual output value of more than 20 million yuan, more than 200000 employees, and an annual consumption of 1 million tons of fabric. In the continuous development, more than 800 brand enterprises such as Haoxin, Xiaodingdang, Child Star, Zhengkai and Lierma have emerged in our city, and 13 provincial famous trademarks and 20 municipal famous trademarks have been born.

In 2022, in the face of multiple adverse factors such as the COVID-19 epidemic, fluctuations in the price of textile raw materials, restrictions on textile exports in Western countries, and rising labor costs, our city will adhere to the principle of equal emphasis on introduction and transformation, increase and improve quality, and continue to promote the work of extending the chain, supplementing the chain, strengthening the chain, cultivating market players, environmental pollution control, and supporting infrastructure construction, Further improved the modernization level of the textile and clothing industry chain and the basic industrial capacity. The operating income of textile and clothing enterprises above the designated size of the city was 3.389 billion yuan, up 12.8% year on year; The average number of workers was 7066, up 2.7% year on year.
