From March 6 to 8, in this beautiful season of spring, Jingzhou textile and clothing industry ushered in a happy event. Twelve textile and clothing enterprises came to Shanghai in a group and appeared at the 2024 China International Garment Expo to show the ever-changing and innovative achievements of Jingzhou "weaving".

On the day of the event, Jingzhou Infant and Children's Wear Association, in conjunction with Shashi District, Jingzhou Economic Development Zone, Jiangling County and Jianli City, organized leading enterprises to participate in the exhibition, and effectively connected and interacted with 5000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions around the world to seek cooperation opportunities.

"This is the best time to promote the brand!" Jingzhou Huijian Technology has brought down jacket, windbreaker and other clothing produced by enterprises. For enterprises, this clothing expo is an opportunity to show their design level and processing ability.

Seize the opportunity, Jingzhou plans to move later, make full use of its own advantages, continue to polish the "golden signboard" of the national level demonstration area for undertaking industrial transfer, and promote high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry——

Promulgate the preferential enterprise documents such as Several Policies of Jingzhou City to Undertake the Transfer of Textile and Clothing Industry and Promote Cluster Development;

Heavy investment will be made to build industrial platforms such as the Golden Childhood Town in Shashi District, Science and Technology Innovation Park, and the Textile Printing and Dyeing Industrial Park in the Economic Development Zone;

The Jianghan Plain Textile and Garment Industry Technology Research Institute was established with wisdom and strength; Integrate resources to establish Jingzhou Textile and Clothing Industry Alliance;

The 2023 China Textile and Garment Industry Chain Development Conference, Jingzhou Guangdong Textile and Garment Industry Entrepreneurs Conference and other docking activities were held to attract 143 projects including Zhijing Technology, Bosideng, Yaya Clothing, Fuchun Printing and Dyeing, with an agreed investment of 88.045 billion yuan;

30 enterprises above designated size were added to the chain, with a year-on-year growth of 76.5%;

8 enterprises such as Fuchun Printing and Dyeing have won a total of 54.16 million yuan of awards and subsidies above the provincial level, an increase of 90% year on year. 16 enterprises such as Deyongsheng and Hongye have been awarded national green factories, provincial expertise, novelty and other demonstration honors.

Up to now, Jingzhou has nearly 2000 textile, clothing, fabric, printing and dyeing enterprises, forging a complete "one-stop" industrial chain of spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing, e-commerce.

Strong foundation for the future

Looking around Jingzhou, the new quality productivity is enabling the textile and clothing industry.

There is one "Cenhe" for every eight baby clothes in China. In Shashi District, Cenhe Town, which is known as the "famous town of baby clothes in China", has 555 knitting and clothing enterprises, and the annual output of baby clothes reaches 180 million pieces.

Three people can cut 100000 pieces of cloth every day. Shishou City, Jianli City and Jingzhou District promote industrial innovation with scientific and technological innovation. The scene of "thousand people yarn and ten thousand people cloth" has been replaced by the "intelligent" scene, and digital equipment can be seen everywhere.

Hongye Knitting has built a "5G+Smart Factory", greatly improving the quality and efficiency of production, and increasing the annual revenue by 10% year on year in 2023.

Relying on the whole process intelligent production line, Deyongsheng Textile has a firm foothold in the high-end denim fabric market. In 2023, the total output value of the company will reach 1.13 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 21.04%, becoming a strong production pole of the textile and clothing industry in the city.

Jianli Haoyu Garment Co., Ltd. introduced intelligent equipment and supporting management system to realize data circulation and visualization, shorten production cycle, reduce waste, and achieve flexible manufacturing and visual production. In 2023, the company's output value will reach 800 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33%.

The industrial foundation has been constantly consolidated, and new quality productivity has accelerated to form. Jingzhou's textile and clothing industry has brought new "quality and efficiency" to the development with the new "quality" of the industry. "Weaving" will create an important textile and clothing industry base in central China for the bright future of "Jingzhou", and strive to write a new millennium textile glory.
