Against the background of profound changes and challenges facing the global clothing industry, the "2024 Humen Vision for World Clothing Cooperation and Development" was held in Humen, Dongguan on November 20. As the first meeting of the 2024 World Garment Conference, this conference brought together leaders, experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from 20 countries and regions around the world to exchange views on the "Humen Vision" of the 2024 World Garment Conference and jointly discuss the future development and cooperation opportunities of the garment industry.

Chen Dapeng, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation and President of China Garment Association, pointed out in his speech that in the era of great change, the garment industry is facing multiple changes such as scientific and technological innovation, industrial restructuring, supply chain reform, and iterative upgrading of consumer demand. In this context, the convening of this meeting is of great significance. He mentioned that "speed alone, distance with others", hoping to take advantage of the platform advantages built by the World Fashion Conference to jointly promote the "harmonious" development of the global fashion industry, which is also an important original intention of the 2024 World Fashion Conference. Chen Dapeng hopes that this meeting can reach a consensus on development and lead the global garment industry to a sustainable and healthy development.

Today, the digital economy is promoting the reconstruction of the industrial pattern, and AI intelligence is deeply reshaping the industrial ecology; The new outlook on life is being transformed into a new outlook on consumption, and the experience of economic and emotional values has become more important; Green development has become a global consensus. Green technology has accelerated iteration, and the improvement of environmental protection standards is promoting the low-carbon process of the clothing industry. The global garment industry is undergoing profound changes. We need to work together to win the future.
Based on Humen's vision, Sun Ruizhe put forward three initiatives: first, focusing on development to enhance the value of people's livelihood, improve people's livelihood and develop employment; Second, expand the industrial space with cooperation as the guidance, establish a high-level cooperation mechanism, and eliminate cooperation barriers; The third is to reshape the industrial quality with innovation as the driving force, and promote the "harmonious" development of emerging industries and clothing industry.
