In the afternoon of December 24, the 7th Standing Council of the 5th China Industrial Textile Industry Association was held online. Li Lingshen, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, Li Guimei, President of China Industrial Textile Industry Association, Vice President, Executive Director and Supervisor of the Association attended the meeting.

Li Guimei gave a comprehensive report on the industry operation in 2024 and the key work of the Association. In 2024, the industry will show a restorative growth and the market demand will continue to recover, but the quality and efficiency of development need to be improved and the growth momentum needs to be consolidated. From January to November, the industry prosperity index was 68.4, and the nonwoven production of enterprises above designated size increased 4.7% year on year; From January to October, the operating income and total profit of enterprises above designated size increased by 6% and 16.1% respectively year on year, but the decline in product prices affected the profitability of enterprises; In terms of the international market, the export of the industry from January to November increased by 5.9% year on year.

In terms of industry work, Li Guimei introduced the work, progress and achievements of the Association from aspects of party building, science and technology, standards, green development, vocational skills, exhibitions, industry docking and exchange, international cooperation, etc. In 2025, the Association will further strengthen internal construction and improve service capacity under the guidance of superior units; With the goal of developing new quality productivity and high-quality development of the industry, adhere to the Party building leading innovation drive, give full play to the role of bridge and link, earnestly do a good job in the strategic research of the industry during the "15th Five Year Plan", make new breakthroughs in key areas, and persistently promote the construction of modern industrial system of industrial textiles.

The meeting reviewed the 2024 work report and related work items of the Association, and around the practice and experience of high-quality development of industrial textiles, invited Song Xiquan, chairman of Taihe New Material Group Co., Ltd., Deng Weixiong, chairman and general manager of Guangdong Bidefu Medical Technology Co., Ltd., Ye Fuzhong, chairman of Zhejiang Yunzhongma Co., Ltd Rao Jincai, Chairman of Hubei Jinlong New Material Co., Ltd., and other leaders of four key enterprises made exchange speeches.

Song Xiquan introduced the company's work in scientific and technological innovation, industrial layout, internationalization and digital transformation. He believes that the manufacturing industry is in a critical transition period. China's industrial textile industry has international competitiveness and a huge domestic demand market, and there is great room for development in the future. For industrial work, he suggested that we should aim at the global industrial direction and demand, improve the international competitiveness of the industry, and cultivate enterprises with international competitiveness; Deepen the integration and coordinated development of the industrial chain to form complementary advantages; Pay more attention to green and sustainable development and build a "moat" for industrial competition. The Association should further promote horizontal and vertical exchanges in the industry, strengthen industry standardization, help enterprises "go global" and avoid disorderly competition.

Deng Weixiong gave the feeling that the market is warming up and the price is more competitive, and shared the current situation of the U.S. nonwoven market. He believes that enterprises going abroad is a double-edged sword. The layout of the international market has increased its share, but it has also transferred productivity and reduced jobs under the stable employment situation. He suggested that the nonwoven industry should speed up its transformation and upgrading to meet the difficulties. For this reason, innovation will be the biggest opportunity. Enterprises should go out of their comfort zone, strengthen management inside, expand the market outside, and create a source of power for development from innovation.

Ye Fuzhong said that in the face of complex economic environment and uncertainty, Yunzhongma actively responded, developed strategic directions and goals around its main business, extended the upstream and downstream industrial chains, improved product quality through internal control, actively promoted digital transformation and intelligent transformation of enterprises, adhered to the concept of green development, reduced costs and increased efficiency, and improved the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises. In the future, Hope Association will establish relevant mechanisms to help enterprises develop rapidly.

Rao Jincai said that in the face of macroeconomic impacts, changes in the market environment, and diverse customer needs, enterprises focus on their main responsibilities, keep innovation, accurately check the pulse to make breakthroughs in military civilian integration, extend to emergency products, and transform to the international market. At the same time of strengthening innovation drive and technology iteration, the enterprise adheres to the principle of people first and ingenuity, builds a talent echelon with intelligence and vitality, and achieves the development and growth of Jinlong for more than 30 years. In the future, I hope to continuously improve the coordinated development of this industry and even cross industries under the guidance of the Association.
