The Second Batch Of "Typical Cases Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshops" Was Announced, And A Batch Of Textile Workshops Were Listed

Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism publicized the second batch of recommended list of "typical cases of intangible cultural heritage workshops". A total of 51 intangible cultural heritage workshops were selected, including more than 10 textile intangible cultural heritage workshops.

It is reported that intangible cultural heritage workshops refer to various business entities and production and processing points that rely on representative intangible cultural heritage projects or traditional handicrafts to carry out intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance and drive local people to find jobs nearby.

In 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other departments jointly issued the Notice on Continuously Promoting the Construction of Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshops to Promote Rural Revitalization, which clearly defined that we should continue to promote the construction of intangible cultural heritage workshops, strengthen the protection of intangible cultural heritage, promote employment and income, consolidate poverty alleviation achievements, and help rural revitalization. In 2022, the first batch of "typical cases of intangible cultural heritage workshops" will be launched.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism said that it is necessary to give full play to the advantages of intangible cultural heritage workshops, take them as an important means to broaden employment channels, and focus on the characteristics of local demand, vigorously develop home-based employment and flexible employment posts such as handcrafting, processing and manufacturing, so as to provide more opportunities for local employment.

At the same time, traditional manual vocational skills training should be carried out relying on intangible cultural heritage workshops, and relevant subsidy policies should be implemented according to regulations if the conditions are met. Set up intangible cultural heritage skills competition items in various vocational skills competitions, carry out relevant skills display and exchange, and strengthen the construction of intangible cultural heritage to help rural revitalization talent team.

We will also set up special training courses for leaders of intangible cultural heritage workshops. Encourage institutions participating in the training program for inheritors of Chinese intangible cultural heritage to carry out research, training and exchange activities for intangible cultural heritage workshops. Support the leaders of intangible cultural heritage workshops to participate in the training of high skilled talents training base. The qualified leaders of intangible cultural heritage workshops will be provided with policy support such as tax relief, venue arrangement, entrepreneurial guaranteed loans and discount interest, one-time entrepreneurial subsidies and entrepreneurial training subsidies. Support the leaders of excellent intangible cultural heritage workshops to build skill master studios, and provide financial support. Promote the cultivation of outstanding intangible cultural heritage workshop leaders into rural culture and tourism talents, rural craftsmen, and representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage.
