Guangdong College Students Can Get A Maximum Of 200 Thousand Yuan Without Compensation

The Guangdong provincial science and technology department and the provincial finance department held the "Guangdong science and technology small and medium enterprises technological innovation fund working conference" yesterday in Guangzhou.

Reporters learned from the meeting that Guangdong Province set up a special fund for technological innovation of small and medium sized enterprises for the first time this year. Students who successfully applied for this special fund are expected to get a maximum subsidy of 200 thousand yuan.

According to the document, for the university students' entrepreneurship project, the document stipulates that if there are certain conditions for the technological innovation projects of scientific and technological entrepreneurship and employment in the state-level or provincial level high-tech zones, the characteristic industrial bases, the science and technology business incubators and the University Science and technology parks, the maximum amount will be 200 thousand yuan free subsidy.

It is reported that the deadline for applications for college students' entrepreneurial projects is September 15, 2009.

The person in charge of the enterprise must be a postgraduate, undergraduate or junior college graduate from a full-time college. The time of graduation is less than two years. In addition, the registered capital of the enterprise shall not exceed 500 thousand yuan, and the number of employees shall not exceed 50, and the total assets shall not be higher than 1 million yuan.
